Figure we should go for the PSA trifecta.
This has been a public service announcement. |

To actually add content to the discussion, is anybody still staying away? I would love to hear dissenting opinions against buying.
I think we all know he won't shoot 71.9% going forward as a starter. Heck, with Nelly at the helm, we don't even know if he's going to be a starter going forward.
The upside both TSND and TSNP wise looks like too much to ignore though. SU and I were talking about it and we characterized it best by saying that we would rather be the guy owning a Morrow returning to earth than the guy not owning a Morrow breaking out.
However, given how many trades are going to be necessary in the coming weeks, Morrow turning out to be a bust could leave many managers in a very tenuous position.

the 1 in 5 so soon is scary tho especially with everone else having to go that week pretty much. He could be held as he has a good schedule on the other side but can we expect minutes for that long? Also with the late week 1 in 5 he will lose money but not owners so that makes it tougher. I probably wold still move into him if I had a cheap player to move today but I am not sure I want to force it. All these announcement are getting me worried about hawes now, but I liked nesterovic as a replacement. maybe get nesterovic from green or m&m in a few days?

I would rather spend an extra million and grab Kelenna. He is much more proven and gets some steals.....

I am a diehard Warriors fan and I can tell you that Morrow is gonna get 40+ minutes every game from now on..Nellie raves about him because he opens up shots for others (such as S-Jax and Maggette)...I picked up Morrow today so maybe being biased :)

Marcus Thompson II of the Contra Costa Times wrote this about Morrow: "OK, so undrafted rookie guard Anthony Morrow is no fluke. Not because he followed Saturday's record-breaking 37-point performance with a game-high 25 points on Tuesday in the Warriors' 111-106 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Oracle Arena. But because he is changing the way the Warriors play basketball. Morrow was a game-changer in leading the Warriors (5-6) to their first winning streak of the season.
"But he also convinced his coach and his teammates that the Warriors are simply better when he is on the floor, when he is getting the ball. 'I told the squad in practice yesterday that I think this is the way that we're going to have to play to max out what we have,' Warriors coach Don Nelson said. 'To be the best team we can be, the smaller lineup seems the way to go, and Anthony Morrow kind of made that happen. I gave him an opportunity to fit in with a small team and he made the whole thing work.'"

I'm likely holding today, and not because I don't have the trade. Wanna see how he does with Craw next to him. If he sucks again on Wednesday, then maybe Foye could be an option. Or a Knick G.... Also wanna see who is DAntoni going to start.
