This is going to be our TP. We picked up Ender and Wolfer from waivers. We say goodbye and good luck to Soetal.
The new lineup is: Senator Urine Pica Winston Allhair Allstars Heather Gary Dotson Wolfer Ender Weykool
We should be able to make up ground on team Blooki as they will only be able to not count one team instead of two. |

Is Hawes holdable after tonight's game? He technically has 2 days off and then has a decent schedule for another 2 weeks. He hasn't been up to par lately but still better than most options around his price. I suspect a lot of people will move him to Blatche tomorrow if they don't need to pick up a center.

Blah, I don't know what to do, anything resembling a plan got thrown out the window with last week.
Paul, Rondo, Harris, Stuckey Dirk, Jamison, Biedrins, Simmons Nene, Hawes 6.2 in the bank (!) and 3 trades
Thoughts:
- I took Simmons because I needed his GF, but with the problems from last week that is no longer the case. I'm very tempted to move him to Blatche tomorrow (and honestly, even today for the money)
- Hawes, I don't know what to do here. It feels like the right move is holding, I know I'm going to want him back in a week, especially with the possibility of Brad Miller being traded and with people looking to get out of Bonner. I certainly have the money to upgrade, but I don't like the mid-range options until next week.
- Nene. This should be fun. I do have the money to move him to Dwight, but that of course kills any flexibility I have. I'd rather let him play out the week and then deal with him after the refresh.
- The Wade Issue. Rondo and Harris - Why do they have to be so good? I was sort of hoping Harris would start cooling off and I could move him for Wade on Tuesday, but that feels crazy right now. But so does skipping Wade.
- The Dwight Issue. When is it completely safe to get back in? Is he going to be a 50 tsnp/g player or 40 tsnp/g player in light of the injury? It would seem wrong to trade Dirk or Jamison or Biedrins for him right now.
- The Knicks Issue. I want a lot of them. I may only have room for one. I could pass on Blatche to free up a slot for Chandler, but Blatche just seems like an excellent buy right now. Though I am concerned about that stretch of really tough defensive teams they're about to face. Will it mean more pressure on Jamison / Butler and less on Blatche? Or will it mean 3 fouls in 8 minutes of play?

Contemplating the following and I need someone to talk me out of it.
I need to move Granger and Nene is burning an hole in my spleen (I'm happy with the 500K I've made on him but the points are killing me). Without Granger a sure DNP tonight I wouldn't make any move, but I'm thinking this is my in to Howard and Blatche.
Who knows if Howard's 100%, and going Nene to Blatche seems like heartburn city as Nene is sure to explode and Blatche shrivel up like a dry bean.

Looks like Simmons is questionable with a sore shoulder. I think I'm going to move him to Blatche today and take the money. I'll be left with 5.99 in the bank, which should come in handy for the next injury and possible move back into Wade. Any objections or anything I'm overlooking?

Looks like Simmons is questionable with a sore shoulder. Without a lot of cash, the only option I see is Azubuike, especially after Jax said to be out for the next 3 games. So he's back for a third round of duty for me. That leaves only one trade for me so I can really use a good game from Hawes tonight and hold him.

I'm trying to figure that out right now. I think if Hawes is someone we'll still want in a few days, the right move is holding. My main fear is that I hold and he continues to slump.
Wade of course had to have a great game last night. Can I really go without him? I don't see how I can, but I also don't see how I can sell any of Paul, Rondo, Harris, or Stuckey right now.

The only one I would think of trading Hawes for is Blatche, who I already have. So hopefully the price movements for the 2 cancels each other out.
With the same set of guards, I can't justify trading any of them for Wade either. However as a contingency move I would probably move Duncan to a Knick center and keep the excess cash around to upgrade Rondo or Harris to Wade in case something happens to them.

Yeah, we seem to have the exact same situation. I picked up Blatche yesterday from Simmons. The only somewhat possible options I see are Durant or buying a Knick (David Lee?) really early today. But both of those would kill any chance of having money around to move into Wade or Howard if I go that route.

Pica,
Our teams are very similar. My only planned moves are Duncan and possibly Bonner if people decide to cash out that 300K jump he got the other day. Hopefully not. So it's most likely Duncan to a Knick of some sort at this point. Not a ton of great outs from Duncan at first glance, but I haven't delved too deeply.

As of now I may be skipping Wade as well. Moneywise I just dont have the funds to go Stuckey to Wade unless I bail out of players early. I will bank the trades and use them later to pick up a game or two rather than just the per game differance between Wade and Stuckey. My only planned move right now is TD to Lee next week.

Looked at several moves this morning, but in order to be really happy I'd have to make too many movesw and have too many balls in the air. I'm actually looking at holding Ridnour through a 1 in 5 because he gets pretty green right afterward and I'd have too move a F that doesn't need to be moved to pick up games during the 1 in 5.
I'm not thrilled about it, but it seems the prudent thing to do. I'll have to deal with TD and Millsap before the week is out. I'll move TD > Jefferson and Millsap > Lee at the appropriate times.
I don't have the funds to move Ridnour to either Paul or Wade so I'll have to do without.

I'm thinking today hold everyone and reevaluate after tonight's games. There are a lot of different directions I can go and today's games should help me figure that out. At some point this week Jamison and Biedrins should be leaving, but hopefully that's it.

Just had about 15 minutes to look at this and came up with three quick options. I'll look more later but here they are for now, what do you guys think?
A) Mid-range Approach
Today: Jamison to Granger Tomorrow: Biedrins to Camby
I think unless Biedrins goes off for 60 tonight, he's going to be bleeding massively all through the week, so it might be worth it to give up that extra game. What do you think? Then next week try to find my way into Wade from Harris, though the money is very tight and right now I'm negative.
B) Barbell Approach
Today: Rondo to Wade, Jamison to Diaw Tomorrow: Biedrins to Camby
Only downside is no Granger (and watching Cleveland and Orlando blow out Miami while Rondo averages a triple double)
C) Mixture
Today: Jamison to Granger, Rondo to Jefferson Tomorrow: Biedrins to Camby
Gives me a lot of flexibility, as it would allow a Jefferson to Dwight move if I want to go that route. But I don't even know if I want to, it's only +1 game and they could all be blowouts.
I'll keep looking this afternoon. What do you guys think in general? Is it worth sacrificing the Biedrins game for the money (out of him early, into Camby early)?

Argh, I'm really not sure what to do. And of course Wade has the early game.
I'm 99% sure I'm moving Jamison tonight. I feel he's tapped out - about to play a bunch of the toughest teams in the league, many of which away from home.
Is Rondo going to keep gaining? Or is he a day or two away from facing selling pressure? If he is going to start bleeding in a couple days, then I think the move has to be Jamison and Rondo to Wade and Diaw, and then use the extra money next week when getting out of Harris and Nene.
At the same time, if Rondo goes off tonight against GSW people may still keep buying. In that case, holding Rondo and getting Granger (who can in theory be held forever) seems like the wise move. But of course the downside is no Wade.
And then there's the Jefferson / Bosh factor too. They have dense schedules and stand to make some money, though are not as consistent / productive / TSNP/$-efficient as the other players.
And is Dirk going to start facing selling pressure?
It's getting really hard to plan when everything is so production-based. For some reason it seems that this year there are fewer real studs than in past seasons. Two hours to decide...

I went Rondo and Jamison to Wade and Diaw. I may have lost my mind and really over-analyzed this one.
Rondo is about to play a lot of games on the road, and for the season he's averaging a full 10 tsnp/g less on the road. That's pretty amazing. Also, coming off of two games where he's only had 31 and 32, and given that I've already made 700k off of him, it felt like this was the way to go.
Plus this plan had the money on it's side. As much as I told myself I could live without Wade, I know deep down he's a must. So I'd essentially be making some variation of these moves in a week anyway after all the swings took place. I worked out a tentative plan and it came down to this:
7 Rondo, 3 Granger vs. 3 Wade, 2 Harris, 2 Diaw, 2 Nate and a ton of money and not having to alter those plans due to selling pressure
Am I crazy? Did I just ruin my season?
I think that's it for me today. I'm very tempted to just eat last night's Biedrins disaster and move him for Bosh and then Dirk for Camby tomorrow (thereby avoiding any Dirk selling pressure). But I'd be down to only one trade for the week, and Bosh has disaster written all over him whereas Dirk I feel can have a big week for some reason. It would be 1 Biedrins and 5 Dirk vs. 7 Bosh for one extra trade. As long as Dirk can keep getting 40 and make it until his 1/6 game, I'd be very happy saving the trade.

I'm not interested in tossing away games to avoid perceived money loss from Biedrins, especially when the leading option of his replacement is none other than Camby. No moves today.

I think Biedrins to Camby early may be worth it, the swing could be huge. Biedrins is going to lose a lot today and probably a bit over the next two days also even though he plays, while Camby should go up a lot over those days. A 400k to 500k swing wouldn't surprise me. There's of course the injury risk...
Looking at it more, Dirk kind of sucks and is very close to my never again list. I'm seriously considering moving him to Howard today. I needed a big game from him last night and I think telling myself that he's not going to start bleeding is just telling myself what I want to hear. Despite having that 5 in 7 in the near future, he's definitely going to take a big hit on 1/7 and 1/10 in the middle of it, and all this week people could be moving him. Dwight hasn't been great, but I think I have the money to take the risk. Also Dwight should see some good gains next week as people get out of Jefferson early (production pending) as well as from other slots.
So it would be one trade for +1 or +2 Dwight games over Dirk (depending on other decisions I make) and seemingly a lot of money. The only downsides are one trade for the rest of the week and tying up some more money in case something goes wrong. What do you guys think?

That Butler news came out of nowhere, if I had known he were going to be out I never would have sold Jamison a couple days ago. Oh well.
I ended up moving Dirk to Howard last night. While Howard didn't have a good game I'm still happy with it. Apparently he was going off in the first but then it turned into foul trouble / blowout territory.
No moves for me today and hopefully not until next week either.

In a similar situation a few weeks ago, TSN admitted to me that they do the price changes at precisely 11pm EST, before they actually have time to count all the last minute buys and sells, which takes them another half hour. So there is often a slight discrepancy between price change and actual ownership change. Just another example of TSN's faulty systems.

Intruder
I don't think the ownership figures on the TSN site count every team. Early in the season when they listed the percentages you could tell that they were out of only about 1500 teams. Surely Stuckey is owned by more than half the teams, but he'd be at only 49% using the raw figures in the ownership info. So Wade may have been +1 on the teams TSN samples but had slightly more sells than buys overall.
