Welcome back to Philsphan, who rejoins the team after a brief hiatus. |

I moved Blatche to Millsap early, hoping to be able to squeeze in a Harris=>Wade move on Sunday. Unfortunately, I missed the Harris DNP on Saturday until it was too late, and the price difference swung by $50K more than I had room for.
So I ended up taking Kobe instead of Wade. I do get an extra Kobe game over the 11-day holding period, but I still would rather have had Wade. Hopefully, that won't blow up on me.
Overall, I can't complain too much, I guess. I've had a good run lately.
BTW, today our team dropped out of first place for the first time this season!

Thanks for drafting me again!
I missed the Harris DNP too by about 20 minutes or I would have gone to Wade that night.
I had to choose between Millsap and Duhon so I went Harris/Green/Moute to Wade/Millsap/Jeffries. Moute was a waste of a trade... Perhaps I can get Duhon a bit later.
No more moves for the week, and then will need to deal with Diaw and Howard at the end of this week.

I freed up some cash last night so will be selling Stuckey for Granger. I can get Stuckey back from Rondo on the 13th.

How likely are Eric Gordon and Tyrus Thomas to break gravity tonight?

Looks like I caught a break by selling Stuckey earlier in the week. For anyone that has him, though, I guess Thomas is a decent choice, but keep in mind that Thomas' style of play makes him inherently volatile. He is playing with more confidence lately, though.
My only move today is Camby to Millsap.

Also going Camby>Millsap.
My last trade was reserved for Rondo on tuesday but with Stuckey news and the fact he's #1 owned forces me to pick my poison.
With 2 days off after today and doubtful for tonight, is Stuckey a must sell?

Howard back to Paul today. Other than the 67.5, going without him these last 3 games worked out ok. I would have liked to pick him up at a lower price, though.

I need to start a roster rotation today.... Garnett to Lebron! I was wrong about Garnett this year... I think the money gains in Lee and Granger are probably maxed out... not sure about Milsap with the DNP(that's a monkey wrench in my plans)??
Guards: Chris Paul -- holding forever! (well not really but not planning to trade out anytime soon) Ridnour -- great schedule holding till 1/31 Westbrook -- not sure... schedule a little lite.. maybe back to Stuckey today for the money I need for the upgrade?? Blake -- best I could find out of Stuckey... trading out on 1/20??
Forwards Nowiski -- to Amare?? on 1/15 Garnett -- to LEBRON today!!! Granger -- package today with Garnett or hold with the money losses thru 1/16? Milsap --- ????? maybe to A Varejeo for the money for the Garnett upgrade??
Center Murphy -- not widely held... probably holdable thru the poor schedule? Lee -- hold till 1/24 even if he looses money.

I'm moving Rondo to Stuckey and Jamison to LeBron today. Would you also move Millsap to Stoudemire? My next chance to get Millsap back then would be the 17th when I free up money from Kobe to Camby.

The money? And in the off chance he doesn't suit up tomorrow. I'm not sold on it, but it was an option that I noticed.

Holding Millsap.
Kobe and Durant moving on the 15th to LeBron and someone in the $5000K ballpark - maybe Shaq (gulp).

I think its either
A. Milsap and Garnett to Lebron and Varejeo B. Granger and Garnett to Lebron and Shaq
not sure I trust Shaq though with back to backs?

I also don't trust Shaq with back to backs. But, the only other players in that price range with similar production are Millsap and Okur. Each of them has also missed games in the past month - Millsap on several occasions, and Okur in late December (back).
Shaq has a slight schedule advantage over Utah, so even if he misses a game (or two), he still offers good value. The next best sub-$5m player is Gooden, who is also a health risk. His schedule isn't quite as good, and his recent average isn't quite as good.
Pick your poison.

I can go Dirk Diggler to Camby today (or tomorrow?).. I think that is an upgrade??!! Would end up skipping Amare then who has been less than impressive lately.

ki- Definitely Camby over Amare. Besides Kaman and Randolph still out you've already missed on some Amare $$ gains.
Nice job last night! I really like your roster setup, solid at every position. What are you planning on doing with Stuckey later?

You could also get Camby from Wade on the 19th. That would allow you to move Dirk more efficiently (to Amare or Nash perhaps).

Knowing that Millsap is out, I think I'll skip Duncan and save my cash for Camby in a few days. With that said, I'm debating between Okur and Bargnani today. Which combo do you like better: Okur/Nash or Bargnani/Stoudemire?

I vote for Nash/Okur. Jermo should be returning soon which isn't good for Bargnani.

Dean Martin,
Not sure on my exit strategy with Stuckey at this point... the situtions seem to be too much in flux at this point for a longer term strategy there... I am eyeing Devin Harris and Randy Foye as possibilities for next week.
Went Dirk/Millsap to Camby/Okur today... mention of MRI sounds to me like more that just a one night DNP for the currently 3rd highest owned player.
My biggest decision is Danny Granger right now. I have no banked money and no position flexibility to get a guard (Nash). With a lot of poor schedules the Indiana one with only two red days does not look all the bad.

Thanks for the input, ki and Dean. I went with Bargnani (and will get Amare tomorrow). It just seems he's "gotten it."
Just as Okur with benefit with Millsap out, Amare should benefit from Shaq taking time off. I'm a little worried about Jermo coming back, but for the other option, I anticipate Nash seeing reduced minutes in a dense schedule.
I think the money should favor Bargs/Amare, and it leaves me a little more cash. I'm assuming I'll want Millsap back once he returns, and at least Bargnani gains a game over Okur. It was a tough choice, but so far so good (Bargs with 23 through 1 half).

I agree qwerty on Amare benefiting from Shaq DNP-cd... I picked Camby today over Amare based on their recent numbers; I thought hard about that though... Not sure I'm not going to regret not buying Amare.
