Figure this is as good a place as any:
Guru, best of luck in your operation tomorrow. Don't rush back, but just be aware that if you're out for any significant and/or unscheduled time, we'll have to update your status here and note similarities between you and Marcus Camby. |

Good Luck with your operation Guru.
P.S. If Camby had 10 kidney stones removed, he'd be out for the season!!!

Thanks for the good wishes. All went as expected. The largest (and the reason they went in) was 12x10x8mm, and still in the kidney. But they blasted it with a laser and pulled out the pieces. (Just don't ask how the laser got in there in the first place - nasty business.) The O.R. nurse says it's like watching a game of Asteroids on the video monitor.
But it could have been worse!
And then I come home, take some pain meds, and have to figure out what to do with Blatche! This was supposed to be a no-trade day for me!
I need someone cheap. I think I'll pick up Robert Pack.

Been there done that Guru, I can read between the lines. Actually still going through some of it. But 10?!?!?!?&*!*# That's incredible.
BTW, if they put a stent in, they'll go back in the same way to remove it. Another "not fun."

Two stents were removed this morning. Not as bad a procedure as I expected. The pain was less intense than what I felt shortly after picking up Bynum on Saturday night.
