We welcome back Gary Dotson and wish Soetal the best of luck on his new team.

Saw Granger was out at 6:58. Sold and started doing some frantic planning. Got my buy in at 7:33 somehow. In a few days I was going to buy either Bargnani or Parker for a hold until 2/8, so I took Parker tonight which gave me flexibility in both position in money. I'm not checking a thing tonight because I'm terrified, but now I have a ton of options tomorrow and the next few days.

I have my work cut out for me tonight. I'm either going to sell Lopez for Duncan, or Lee for Duncan / Dwight / Kobe. And now Camby's in the mix too...
Lee is of course great and Lopez has proven to be a disaster, so I'd rather sell Lopez. But Lopez to Duncan doesn't provide any great transitions, unless I take on Durant next week.
How should we be viewing Camby?

going Granger > Shaq it seems, was originally planning to get Shaq from Salmons, now will hold Salmons longer

At the moment I'm leaning towards holding Lee and moving Lopez to Duncan.
I've been overlooking Shaq all season just because I hate surprise DNPs and have had no intentions of getting him, but I'm looking at that schedule and if he plays each one, wow. So I don't know what to do.
As always Camby is an x-factor in this. My current plan involves me getting him from Duncan at the end of the week, and he would be occupying the slot I have for Shaq unless I give up on the idea of buying Sessions after his schedule gap.
I could theoretically take him from Lee tonight in addition to moving Lopez to Duncan (or skip Duncan's short burst entirely and just hold Lee and do Lopez to Shaq...), but locking Shaq in means one of these guys won't be on my roster during their dense schedule stretches:
Lebron, Millsap, Murphy, Dwight, Lee, Camby
While Millsap's schedule isn't dense, he's such great value that I can't imagine trading out of him. The other guys also feel essential, and I'm not even sure how I'm getting Dwight yet. Blah.

Ok, I think I have two realistic options.
A) Lopez to Duncan, hold Lee, skip Shaq entirely B) Lopez to Duncan, Lee to Shaq, don't buy Lee back

FWIW if I hadn't been $60K short, I would have gone Granger/Lee > Shaq/Duncan.
As it is I went Granger > Shaq, and I'll probably use Lee as my bridge into Camby.
I'm just not sure it is wise to get Camby right now. Maybe after his b/b?

I'm leaning towards grabbing Shaq and Duncan. Yeah, the Camby thing is really hard to figure out. My current plan involves getting him on Wednesday, hopefully that's not waiting too long.
On a side note, would any of you guys possibly be available to watch my teams? I'm flying to Denver on Saturday morning to go skiing and I won't be back until the following Sunday night. I'm bringing a laptop with me so hopefully I'll be able to find a hot spot somewhere (or a library). I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get connection somehow or another, and I'll be making phone calls to Blooki (may not be around to do moves), but if all else fails would someone mind keeping an eye on things should something go wrong? I'm going to work out my official plan and some contingencies tomorrow before I go to bed and I can send it out.

How should we be viewing Camby? I am going to wait until i am absolutely certain he is 100%. Last week he practiced and had to miss the next game becasue of swelling. He didnt earn the name of Cotton Camby based on playing through injuries. I want to see him play and play well for several games before I jump on that wild ride.

So...what's gotten into Bynum and should plans be changed based on this...
Also all this Granger talk is making me nervous. On Thursday I have three players that are probably sells (Lebron, Jefferson, and Foye), and due to lack of options that day I've already half-resigned to planning to hold Lebron. Taking Granger out of the equation makes things even worse as he is pretty much the only person to buy that day.
This was a very inconvenient week to have to go away. I'm sitting in the airport right now trying to work some better rotations but coming up with nothing. I really hope I have access where I'm staying.

So what are people doing with CP3 today? I'm mulling Paul/Millsap -> Bosh/Murphy today. I'm going to wait on Granger some more. Current paln is to get him from Shaq sometime later this week.
If Paul is out short term then I would go Lebron -> Paul on the 5th, and then get Lebron back on the 8th from Bosh, or the 9th or 10th from someone else. Haven't quite figured that part out yet.

I've barely had any access. I hear Paul is out and Millsap hasn't been doing well. It's very hard to come up with a plan due to the uncertainty of Paul's return (and also the lack of options to buy on Thursday...)
Considering just moving Paul to Kobe tonight. Originally was getting Kobe tomorrow from Duncan, but now I can take someone else from Duncan instead (Lee? Camby? Durant? I'm out of the loop) and somehow get back into Paul.
I'm also considering moving Millsap for Nene but who knows. I have less than an hour before I lose access for the night. Anyone have any thoughts?
My tentative Thursday plan is Jefferson and Foye for Rondo and Granger. If Granger isn't healthy, I have no idea. I'll already be holding Lebron...

I see Duncan was held out for "rest", lovely.
I had a friend move him for Odom earlier today. If Paul plays Friday or is expected to play Sunday, I plan on moving Nene back into him.
I have this rotation planned out - it's not perfect and not 100% clean, but I don't think I can pass it up. At current prices, I have a 0.01 window for it (amazing). I think the swings should go in my favor, but it would make me sleep more easily if I dump Parker for Diaw early and take the 1 game and $$$ vs. 2 games. But we'll see.
Also, there are way too many mid-priced frontcourt players to have. I think I just have to roll with who I have locked in, and since it has me 0.01k from a near perfect stud lineup, I just have to block the other guys out.

Crap, have 20 minutes to decide before I lose internet access. I have a 310k window now for my monster plan. Anthony Parker will be going to Diaw either after his back to back, or tonight.
So basically, it's 1 Diaw and likely $ vs. 2 Parker (with Calderon probable). Any input?

Hmm, Bosh seems to be out. I'm so out of the loop. Maybe Parker is a hold then for the next two, and then I'll transition him into Diaw. I'm hoping my window will hold.

Now that Paul is looking doubtful for Sunday, it's looking like I'll have to hold Nene until at least the refresh. I hope the hit isn't too bad. If Paul was playing I was going to move Nene for him, but now I'll be using him as an in to Dwight instead.
There are way too many cheap forwards to have. My original plan was to move Parker for Diaw tomorrow, and I'm still leaning towards doing that. Since developing this plan though, everyone on Milwaukee got injured and I'm wondering if I should count tonight as a loss and move Parker for CV instead. At this point Diaw would have +2 on CV, but games don't always mean much. Any thoughts?

I am thinking about the same thing, also leaning towards Diaw. The thing about Milwaukee's schedule is that there is no clear sell date which could pose a problem.

I'm still leaning towards Diaw but wish I could get CV also. I just don't see where I have room, my front court is ultimately going to be Lebron, Dwight, Odom, Diaw, Shaq, and Murphy. Everyone's either so good or has a schedule that's so good that it makes selling one of them pretty much impossible right now.
With Paul still looking doubtful today, I think I'm just going to move Nene for Dwight now. Not exactly the perfect buying time for Dwight, but Paul's injury is kind of forcing my hand. It's either one Nene game or one Dwight game (easy choice pointswise). Money-wise it's a bit tricky - Nene should probably lose a chunk today with people who sold Lebron triangling back into him, but at the same time he could see a gain before his next game. Dwight probably won't gain anything today, will lose some tomorrow, but then should start seeing gains as early as Tuesday.
So yeah, at the moment Parker --> Diaw Nene --> Dwight
Paul will hopefully come in tomorrow or Wendesday. Anyone have any objections / see something I'm overlooking?

Yep, 99% sure this is what I'm doing. If a certain someone really, really sucks tonight or if someone gets injured, maybe I'll cut my losses and move him to CV tomorrow. A lot can change in a day, especially now with the trade deadline approaching.
I'll be leaving for the airport in a few hours and won't be getting back until late tonight after the games, so I'm going to make the moves now unfortunately. Hopefully nothing random comes up. Tomorrow I should be back in action full time, for the past week I've been trying to manage everything in my head on ski lifts.

I don't know how to go about picking up CV now. My roster is completely full. I'm stuck in the dreaded situation of under-performing mid-rangers with amazing schedules.

Looks like no moves for me tonight, fortunately / unfortunately.
Shaq is frustrating me but I can't see selling him. I do have the money to move him for Gasol right now, but that would leave me with no way into Paul when he returns. Plus with an Amare trade seeming inevitable and with Phoenix's amazing schedule, Shaq is still feeling essential. In hindsight I wish I had kept David Lee, but the freed up money (combined with Shaq's production at the time) made it seem like a must move, as I had a 0.01 window to complete my rotations (which have been negated by Paul's injury).
Part of me is hoping Odom punches someone tonight so that I have a way into CV. Figures he finally throws up a 50+ when I was actually rooting for him to stink the other night.

Was planning a massive upgrade from Foye, but he promptly put up a good game and now seems to be benefiting from Jefferson's injury. Is he worth a hold now? Also Paul's status just completely throws all plans out the window.

CBG,
41 certainly isn't just a spoiled rich kid though. I have never seen anyone with that many problems and bad breaks but he somehow sucks it up every day and manages to trudge on in the face of disaster and potential total annihilation. Some days it just breaks my very tender heart. Like right now. Sob. (not S.O.B.)

Here's my current issue, and it pretty much centers around three players that I don't have: CV, Gasol, and Paul.
- Getting Paul is relatively easy. It will either happen from Wade or Granger. Granger's schedule is better but I don't want to trade Wade, but there's also the option of doing a triangle.
- Getting Gasol is pretty much impossible unless I skip Paul and upgrade Shaq (who has an amazing schedule and the chance of becoming the man in Phoenix)
- The only way I could get CV is by sacrificing someone like Shaq or Diaw for no reason at all. Which I'd absolutely hate to do.
I'm wondering if I should just hold still tonight since everyone plays and hope an injury or suspension of convenience takes place. Do you guys think I should be forcing Charlie?
