So I'm sitting on $6 million in cash. I had thought about upgrading someone to a stud, but now I think I better use the cash to upgrade DeAndre Jordan to a midpriced player. I can afford the likes of Durant, Jackson, Bynum, or Lee. Bynum has the best short- and long-term schedule, but I don't trust him yet. On the other end of the spectrum, Durant's schedule isn't great, but his production for the price is out of this world. Any thoughts on who to take?
While I'm at it, any thoughts on Camby? I'd have to get him from Nash if he proves to be indispensable.

Of those 4, I like Durant, Bynum, Lee, Jackson in that order. But I'm not thrilled about any of them and the spaces separating them are quite small. I faced the same problem (looking for a midranger that I actually wanted) when I picked up Iguodala and now I'm itching to trade him.
I plan on getting Camby in about a week barring unforeseen complications.

At this point, I'm also lugging $6m cash, and don't fell compelled to use it up today. Brook Lopez or Bibby might be jettisoned in 2 days. That may be the time to upgrade.
Durant is a possibility then. Also, I dumped Granger, so at some point I'll want him back. Camby will have to show me a return to form before I take him. LeBron provides a potential opportunity to triangle into either one of them next week as well.
With only 2 trades, I feel that restraint is the better route at this point.

[5] So much for restraint. After watching the big price and point swing between Lopez and Bynum on Friday, I decided to make that move on Saturday. Couldn't have worked out any worse.
Today was supposed to be Bibby=>Durant. Now I guess it will be Bynum=>Durant.
If you own (or plan to own) Durant, be very afraid.

At present I have Kevin Martin/Jason Thompson that I will trade tomorrow giving me about 5.78 million. I am debating between Dunleavy/Jack and Murphy/Tony Allen. Anybody have a choice between those combinations or any other suggestions? My team is Paul, Martin, Granger, Gordon, Thompson, McGuire, James, Millsap, Jefferson and Lee? Thanks!

[10] I don't see Dunleavy as an attractive option at all.
The sartibles suggest that Nene and JR Smith are the best combo, at least through the All Star break. I do note, however, that two of Denver's games are vs. the Spurs and the Magic, neither which seems to produce above average results. I guess Carmelo's return has to be factored in as well, especially vis a vis Smith.
Indy faces Orlando and Cleveland in their next six. So maybe team matchups are a wash.
My first inclnation is that you don't really need to sell Thompson at all. For his price, he's been doing quite well. If you could simply move Martin to Murphy and hold Thompson, that would be my first choice. Currently, you are $10K short of that - but who knows what may happen tonight.
If Murphy isn't affordable as a 1-1 swap, I still might be inclined to go to someone like Nene instead, and hold Thompson. I really don't find any of the sub $1000K players compelling enough to warrant the extra trade.
Or, you could move Martin to Charlie Villaneuva (if Murphy is unaffordable). It's a little early to get Charlie V, but the saved funds and saved trade may be useful sooner than later.
Or, get Nene for 3 games, and then flip to Charlie V. That might be a better way to use 2 trades than any combo involving Thompson.
Those ideas should give you some alternatives to chew on.

I can't believe I'd ever say this but Noah is playing very well of late. However, over the weekend local radio said that Drew Gooden plans to be back sometime during the current roadtrip.

I've had a terrible run for the last several weeks, with so many trade decisions (or non-decisions) backfiring. Glad to see the rest of the team propping me up.
I'm going to need to limp into the ASB just to recoup some trading flexibility.

Are we Lebron traders or holders?? I feel like my roster is stable enough and I have enough trades to be a Triangle Trader.... Probably to Kobe or Gasol??

Gonna upgrade Mo Willy as well; thats a second trade (should probably consider the 'limping' guys like Granger and Millsap as well??).... then my third trade this week is BACK to Lebron; and I'm also Chris Paul-less... getting back there would be number 4; with no trade left for an emrgency... better double-check my priorities!
On second thought.. I think I'm comfortable being without Chris Paul till next week!!??

A triangle from LeBron to a Laker only picks up one game. Is that worth it?
Who would you triangle back from?
I'm pretty sure I'm holding LeBron.
I envy Bandwagon's stash of 12 trades.

Guru... couldn't figure the back into Lebron part of the equation on this team... so my options are A. hold Lebron and keep open the possibility of using to trades to get into Chris Paul and a cheapie later in the week... upgrading Mo Willie to Danny Granger tonight... or B. Lebron/MoWillie to Gasol/Kobe and forget Lebron to after the all-star break.

Would going Granger to Camby if Granger is out be a case of out of the frying pan, into the fire?

I expect that to be a (maybe THE) popular move. Dwight Howard is a viable option to Paul, however.

Howard has 8 games in 12 days. Paul has only 7 over the same span.
Granted, Paul may match or exceed Howard's total points over that span, in spite of one less game. But if Howard's position better fits a roster, I could see using him instead of Paul. Or even moving Wade and Kobe to Paul and Howard.
