Seriously, so far this year, Brooks has been averaging about .75 TSNP per minute. If he starts playing 30-35 minutes per game (consistent with the recent usage of Alston), that works out to TSNP production in the mid-20s. Not bad for a minimum-priced guard, but not stellar, either.
Of course, he could be more productive now that he'll be working with the first unit. But he could also find himself in a timeshare with Lowry.
I could be dead wrong about this, but I'm not tempted to jump in at this stage - although the schedule is certainly attractive.

I'm not very comfortable with him and wish I could see a game or two, but if I want to fit in all the studs, I have to get someone under about $1.5 million. Brooks seems to have the best upside and schedule of the candidates, but do you feel any better about Jack or Garcia?
I hate having a potentially useless player at this point in the year, but I feel I don't have much of a choice.

OK... that makes sense... Thought you were trying to buy him yesterday and NO one made any sense to me..
I know that it it late in the season to be trading cheapies, but my two Milwakee Bucks (Ramon Sessions a Charlie V) look aweful to me today... I know Q likes A.Brooks (and I don't neccesarily dislike him!) but I think I like Leandro Barbosa better. Any one else want to chime in there???
As for Charlie V (gotta think he's got a suspension coming from last night and then his schedule which is bad looks even worse!).... Got about $3M off the table but no one excites me?? In the back of my mind that $3M would look good going Felton to Durant next week??
Luis Scola?? and I think Tom you have got to be kidding????

ki - I prefer Barbosa slightly over Brooks with that high octane offense.
Stick a fork in Sessions he's done. I just really think Skiles doesn't like him or really likes Ridnour. Maybe Ridnour rekindles fond memories for Skiles of his playing days. Villanueva is a different story though, even if he's suspended a game he will still outpoint most in his price range as long as Skiles doesn't get a bug up his ...

Wow, my first post of the season!
I want to appologize for my performance this season. I have the type of personality where I'm focused on a few things, and I give 200% on each one, and I try to be the very best at each thing I focus on (Think SU on steriods, lol). I'm not the type who has several different interests, and gives 20% effort to each, I just can't do it. Having said that, I'll let you in on what's going on with me.
Anyway, I work from 2:30PM to 11:30PM and last season I had internet access. Well, about a week or so into this NBA season, the workplace filtered all gaming websites, so I didn't have access to TSN or rotoworld, yahoo sports etc from 2:30PM thru 11:30PM (DaveR can vouch for me). IMO, if you want to be top tier in the TSN game, you need the internet for the gametime decisions, and last second trades that pop up from late breaking news, or the flu bug etc. As of two weeks ago, they cut internet access altogether.
Now going back to my personality, I'm in a position where I can't give TSN 200% because I'm limited with the internet, so I'm forced into playing TSN casually which I can't stand, and can't get motivated for.
Anyway, I don't want this to sound like an excuse because it isn't. I just wanted to appologize to all of you because I have not put out the effort to help this team, and that is wrong. Especially with Blooki taking me with his 2nd or 3rd pick. If I had known the workplace was going to filter gaming websites before the season started, I would not have played.
From here on out, I promise to make the best of my trades, and do my part to help us make up some points. I may need someone to trade Lebron for me if he sits out tonight.

Team, I apologize for being an absentee manager. I've been bombarded by non-TSN priorities and as a result have not been able to keep up with even the minimal responsibilities of being a GMD player let alone a GMD team manager. Unfortunately, things don't seem like they are going to change anytime soon so I hope my dead in the water team can still stumble across the finish line in such a way that our GMD can finish, at the very least, not last.
