Injuries...KG, Amare What players are going to benefit? Barnes might be a great pick up now. Only 500K Who else benefits in playing time in Phoenix? |

I would like to thank Amar'e for crushing my TSN season. (Why did he stop wearing the Oakley's?!?!) I went to him as soon as Al Gentry took over and it was looking like a productive (and differentiating) move for the long-term. Now, I'm screwed. No good options at his price point and no way into Dwight (or another stud) without a major retool.
I hate this game. And I hate you, Amar'e Stoudamire.

Why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel? : > )
Besides this mess is the apparent end of the Sessions train. Good while it lasted but I'm already going to little Nate.

I'm having a hard time deciding on Nate. Yeah, he's been great the past few games, but with Duhon playing, isn't it risky to think he's continue to put up consistent stat lines?

There seems to be a boat load of players at under 9 million. Today may not be the best day to buy all of them and it depends on who you have and what your flex is but I see at least 5 guys I would buy today

.... and how about Shaq... probably gets an upgrade in minutes and touches...

I though about that but then I though he is not going to kill himself for not making the playoffs. Who else on PHO will get those minutes?

...which will certainly hasten his demise... I admit that don't have him but I am eying him...

Maybe I've overlooked somebody, G.
I have Pau; Roy is interesting, but I don't have positional flex to do directly to him; Dirk is dead to me; Kidd scares me to death; I don't like Nash nearly as much without Amar'e; I'm a day late (or three days early) for Duncan; and not really feeling Yao -- though that is my most direct route.
I also have both Session and CV, whose runs are coming to an end both in productivity (it seems) and schedule-wise.
One thing I am doing is evaluating these post-deadline rosters and I see some intriguing options. Aaron Brooks starting in Houston ($540k) is certainly one; I also think that Matt Barnes ($500k) could jump up in Phoenix. Plus, both schedules are great for a month.

I dont really get the talk about selling Sessions... He has had 1 subpar game and has been great outside of that. I know ridnour is coming back sometime, but not today, and maybe not for weeks still. Even with ridnour back, sessions was starting at the 2 before the injury. And Mil's sched gets good again real soon. Just my 2 cents though

ya, let's all settle down on sessions.
2 more subpar games and I'll agree...but this is a 2 million dollar guard who still shows up in the top ten on sortibles.

Looks like Barbosa is gonna start at SG with G Hill moving to PF now that Amare's out. Barbosa has thrived in the "sprint offense".

I had plans to move Murphy on Tuesday but now that Granger is out I am having second thots. Anyone else asking themselves why they would trade Murphy right now?

So, with all the new cheap options and the return of Ridnour, I have less than 24 hours to figure out why Sessions and CV should stay :(

Sessions will start bleeding bad tomorrow I suspect and has the last two nights. But who to move him into? Nate seems like a good option

15,
Not really...come tuesday it will be too tempting...and he will bleed a lot I think. Both on Tuesday and again on Thursday, going into phoenix and houston guys.
True it's a shame to sell a guy with another week of strong schedule but we've all gotten used to selling a guy a week early...and when it picks up a game it makes all the more sense.

I (and I would guess many others) plan to trade up from Murphy to Duncan, so there's not much of a choice there.

19 I am not selling till March 5th. Of course injury or bad play can change that, but if he is producing I don't care about the price swing...I am horrible in that anyway so at this point no reason to be concerned with it. Many cheap options out there with all of the injuries too.

Yeah I had planned a similar move for Murphy but at this stage, selling a guy when everyone else is isn't that important to me anymore. In fact it may be a plus having a different player. I am just wondering if Murphy to Duncan is the right move now or if he should be had a different way. Still time to think since they play two more. If he puts up 40+ in both it may be tough.

Went Durant >> Pierce. I'm sure Rondo will be the popular pick, but wanted the G/F flexibility in case there's another injury somewhere.
