Woke up too "late" and had to make immediate decisions on who to buy without thinking it thoroughly.... hope it works out... At least I didn't wake up too late that I missed the roster freeze of these games... |

Aren't suspensions always for the next game after the infraction? David Stern's justice is swift and Draconian. I'm thinking no news is good news on Villanueva, but I could be dead wrong.

You would have thought the league would announce something since the flagrant 2 makes a review mandatory.

My working assumption would be that there will be a suspension; it was blatant and decried by ESPN as being a pro wrestler move. The NBA often doesn't announce its decisions immediately, but to my knowledge they normally act before the player's next game.
So watch for an announcement close to game time. However, if he does play today, he should be safe to keep, because the NBA would not normally suspend him after such a time lag.
Your idea that they might wait to act only on Monday (presumably because it's the work week?) is not usually how the league works. If they did wait until the work week, that would signal a change -- a decline -- in the league's functioning. As Mark Jackson would say, NBA, you're better than that.

Charlie playing is a real bonus. I kept him assuming he'd be out---didn't think I had enough trades to suddenly dump both him and Sessions. Sessions is guaranteed to play well after such a large, out of the blue sell-off, isn't he? 9.5 TSNP in 4 minutes.

I don't know that I'd call it the same wrong move: Brooks looks more wrong than Barbosa, at least for today. Then there are the people who took yesterday's cap hit, then sold Sessions TODAY---you know there are some of those.
28 of the 30 GMD Sessions owners sold him yesterday.

Seemingly every serious competitor dropped Sessions, so at least it's kind of no harm, no foul.
Two or three years ago Jason Kidd was an incredible differential pick for me for weeks.
