I'm getting this sick feeling that Blatche is hurt. Hasn't played at all in the 2nd half, unless I missed it.

Final results of my Murphy > Duncan trade:

-35 points and a gain of 240K (plus or minus whatever Murphy's money is today).

All I can say is that it's not the worst trade I've ever made.

You know as well as I do, some times people need to comfort themselves in this game. Using a trade for negative points is a sickening feeling. Tomorrow is a new day and ther eyou have it.

Two of my teams were victims of the Duncan debacle, but on the third I traded Murphy for Love to free up money to eventually go Odom > Durant and Gasol > Duncan. Figured Love's recent production was adequate but he could go completely nuts if given enough minutes.

I consider the books on my Murphy > Duncan trades closed now that I'm done with Duncan. I'd be looking to trade Murphy tomorrow if I held.

The worst trade I ever made was getting Camby X 3 the day of the infamous pinkie injury.

qwert, hope that clears up any confusion.

Actually Murphy looks like a great hold for me. He plays next Wed and then goes into a few options pending how I waqnt to go.

It does indeed CBG!

Hey...I'm still in the negative on Sessions to Brooks despite adding a game.

13 minutes from going invalid on 3 of my 5 teams. I sold Duncan, who I bought last week, prior to game time but wasnt sure what to do with him. I then forgot all about as I got wrapped up in games tonight. As price freeze time approached the light bulb went off, then panic, then comfort that it hadnt passed yet.

So while the Duncan trade cost CBG 35 pts, it almost cost me a couple 100.

Close call G...nearly happened to me last week with Wade to Paul after the all-star break...and I certainly didn't have 10 minutes to spare. I checked the action thread and someone mentioned Paul, which sent me to my team in a flurry only to trade Wade for Paul at exactly 8:00 pm. Wouldn't have been invalid, but still a disaster.

Denver really likes to play with fire...I mean they about gave that game away and they dominated it for the first three quarters.
Then got spanked 31 - 18 in the fourth to only win by one point...LOL

I NEVER go invalid, unless I have no one playing that day and I have someone to sell but I'm not sure who I'll buy, and in that case I buy someone (who I may or may not undo) right after the freeze. I'm even more paranoid about having an invalid roster than I am about buying a player who DNP's. I won a division last year that I wouldn't have without one of my competitors having an invalid roster one day.

I NEVER go invalid

I'm pretty sure he wasn't thinking about going invalid if you reread his post. My take on it was he realized he would be invalid but filled his roster in the last 13 minutes.

and in CBG's defence, I think he was saying that to avoid such occurrences, he never leaves his team invalid after making a trade...he always buys a player right away. probably a good practice.

I don't like going invalid either but I also don't like buying a player at 7:00 ESt and then needing to "undo" the sell before each and every game that starts to avoid that player being locked in while I am still thinking.
