I hope Blatche decides to do something soon. Was hoping to keep him plugged in long-term. Gotta wonder if he's still sore after his injury.

Nope. He walked off under his own power, it didn't appear to bad. But the announcers just said the Mav's doctor was on his way to see him.

This is just ridiculous. Nothing beats finally selling an underperforming player with a great schedule (on the night he plays!) for a top player you've kept inexplicably failing to buy, only to see said player go down within seven minutes. I have a feeling this is only the beginning of tonight's unexpected disasters.

not sure it matters since just about everyone will own Durant tonight (except maybe Twolves). If anything since SU has 10 trades an injury to a popular player only helps him. Hard to feel to sorry given that.

Two things:
1. Is Kevin Love the most inconsistent player right now. I'm scared to death to pick him up;
2. I hope Toronto keeps it close so Shaq can score 50.

I have Durant only on my team that doesn't matter (the one that's hopelessly behind you in our division). Considered Odom > Durant on my other teams but passed because I didn't think the money swing would affect my upcoming moves and an injury to Durant would be catastrophic. Guess I was kind of clairvoyant on this one so blame me.

Actually, Love had been pretty consistent before the last two games: 34, 32, 32.5, 24.5, 27.5, 20.5, 26.5.

The twolves were terrible tonight--I left before the answer to the trivia question of who got drafted ahead of Brandon Roy and Randy Foye got in the game tonight.
I do have Durant on one of my teams that also recently bought Duncan DNP and trade poor.

It's funny, how we spend hours and hours coming up with these plans and trying to figure out the worth of a trade and coming up with all these ridiculous combinations of averages for projections...and in the end I'm probably about to use two trades for -60 points. This game, I swear it's a psychology experiment.

I'd be shocked if Durant wasn't good to go tomorrow. He rolled his right ankle towards the outside ( I think that's usually better- maybe not ) and walked off under his own power, with only a slight limp. I figured he would get taped and be back on the court.
Maybe the Dallas team doctor was under orders from Cuban to keep him out ;). I just didn't look to bad to me.

wow, 8 of my 10 players lost money and 7 of them play tonight. And Scola who doesn't play tonight gained 20k. That tells me people have way too many trades.

The really insane thing is that this game is MORE predictable than any other fantasy game I know of. Fantasy football is largely arbitrary, draft and trade basketball you get season-ending injuries to stars and you're just screwed, and who the hell can project pitcher stats?
Ultimate is the most skill based fantasy game there is, as evidenced by the year-to-year success of the same people. In Ultimate, we even know we will average about an injury a week and plan accordingly. I think what makes us so crazy is that in other games we accept that we have little control over what happens, but in this game we THINK we have control and frequently we don't.
