Then I misunderstood, my bad, that fall was pretty nasty though. Do they really need to talk about Tobacco the whole time?

Butler somehow hasn't gotten a reputation for it in this community (as far as I know), but he's one of the worst DNP risks around: three injuries this year, five last year, three two years ago.
Speaking of injury risks----am I the only person who won't touch Ron Artest no matter how good his schedule is?

They're listing players by net buys/sells. It's probably a glitch.
73 people bought Stephen Jackson even though it was reported days in advance that he wouldn't play. And somebody bought Amare!

#13 It doesn't give you the ownership #'s for highly owned players--

i dont think it as a glitch as on the boards coutram say he launched the new ownership info page. Not sure if he thinks it is an improvement but if he does that jsut further shows how they dont get how the game is played.
Does this info ahve any value?

I saw what you were talking about on the TSN board and posted my opinion. If anyone else doesn't like the new way ownership info is listed, please post on the TSN board so we can get them to change it back.

I picked up Butler over David West a few days ago. Eek. At least McGuire is playing well.

I did look at it to have an idea. In the beginning of the season I found it pretty useful.

I just looked at the ownership page to see how many people are agonizing over Butler's latest "Camby'like" injury.

I think the old format is pretty useful until this point of the season when money doesn't matter very much. Even now, I find it helpful to know that Kevin Love isn't highly owned enough for me to lose much money if I keep him.
You can still find out a player's ownership by clicking on the "market analysis" link on his page. Butler was owned by 69 people before today. Rather an appropriate number!

If anyone wants to buy Duncan at the very last minute he is definitely playing according to the Clippers' pre-game.

Gave some thought to Foye > Westbrook but decided I didn't have enough trades, it was too close to lateral and Foye plays GS tomorrow. Think he can get me a triple double?

The Timberwolves are due for a good game and time to win a home game after nine straight losses. I look for Foye and Love to have big games tomorrow.

Re Ownership, copied from TSN forum, posted by Blite27...
Guys we understand this new ownership info page is unpopular. But it was done because this is the most reliable way of presenting the information accurately.
Indomitable, the reason Yao went up different amounts even though he had the same number of net buyers is because the price change is partially based on the ratio to overall trading that night. Yao's 512 buyers was worth more on a night where there is less trading. Last night there was much more trading, so Yao's gaining 512 owners was less important to the overall market, so his value did not rise as highly.
Take that into consideration when seeing guys who go up in owners but still get negatives in their price change. Those players are staving off gravity, so their ratio of the net versus trading is especially important. A if a player is in the gravity zone and does not get a high enough percentage of buys for the night, he might cut into his gravity some, but still end up with something like a 10K loss. It's possible a player might get 70 new owners one night and go up 10 K and 100 new owners the next night and go down 10K. If that first night there were only 1000 total buys and the next night there were 3000 total, then the first night had bigger share of the market and therefore was more important.
We are trying to get a better way for the future. But for now, this is the most reliable way we can present the information. Thank you for your patience.
Incompetent?
