Very amusing (I refuse to say "LOL"!). What happened with Wade today shows that the people who game-time trade are very much in the minority.
I'd be curious to see a breakdown of how many people bought Wade today and how many sold. That information USED to be available, but TSN took away the "Market Analysis" link.

Curious to those who bought Wade today, who did you sell for him? Also, did you have him on Wednesday and sold him?
Regarding Mcdyess, with Iverson,Stuckey,Wallace, and Hamilton on the shelf really not surprised he had a monster game. Curry is hopeful both Hamilton and Sheed will be back on Sunday vs. the Heat.

I assume Rondo made his money today from Wade sellers figuring they could get a back-to-back, then get Wade back Sunday if he was supposed to play, but Baron and others must have been bought from Wade.
McDyess has had a whole string of monster games. He figures to slow down some with injured players coming back, but he's been so hot that I'm going to roll the McDyess on him anyway, especially since I can get him from Hughes.

I wrote one of those posts you are referring to about a few "managers" controlling market rises and falls. Do you honestly believe that 4 or 5 managers controlling 10 or more teams on a Sunday or Monday aren't controlling prices for that day? It isn't cheating but until someone explains it to new players about trade management and how number of trades on a given day effects increases or decreases for someone learning the game it would get frustrating. It isn't cheating doing it. It is playing the game very well. If they keep losing managers how long will the game continue? Last year a number of people on here thought it was finished
Also mining is a very big problem. I did join a league for 1st or 2nd year players and it was advertised that way. Here I will use names...do Blooki and Headless t Gunners qualify? Both are in it. For competition or just the 50 dollars? For Headless you might claim competition but just from Blooki. Mining isn't cheating just doesn't seem quite ethical. But each to his own. It would be like a manager having teams under different names to win more world prizes. You can't prove it isn't 2 people but doesn't seem quite right either.
I did crappy this year as I went into the hospital for 6 weeks on the opening weekend of the NBA. I still came back and played because I just enjoy it. I will hate it when it is gone but with declining players the time will come when you and I will have to look elsewhere for a game to play and for me anyway D&T sucks.
This wasn't written as an attack on anyone as all people that I have corresponded with have always been willing to help me and explain questions that I have had. It is very friendly here. You all have become unbelievably good at this game.

This had to be one of the all-time awful nights for everybody, because even with Andre Miller X 3, Z-Bo X 3, Lee X 3 and Hughes X 2 all of my teams moved up.

McDyess has been the KING of movement
his points for his price have helped push some teams through the pack
especially if you grabbed him instead of Z Bo
