Some of you know I spent a lot of years in Charleston so this story is close to me. Last month I heard that they are turning this into a movie for ESPN.

Its crazy how everything was like right out of a hollywood movie, and then the other team hits a full court shot to kind of ruin everything. Sort of.
And the audio of his last words in the fire is gut-wrenching.

I went frame by frame on that last second shot (found other videos on the net) and it looks like he actually JUST got it off on time. The National Fedartion of High Schools changed the rule to allow officials to review courtside monitors to review this type of play in the future because of this game.
