I am not sure we will find enough people to even go ahead with this, but it's worth the shot imo. :)
It will have to go fast if we want to do this however.

So we have 20 players so far.
And 2 Managers.
What are our options?
A. 2 Teams of 10, No Waiver Pool, drop 2(to say something) lowest scores on each team...
B. 4 Teams of 5, No Waiver Pool, need more Managers then...
C. 3 Teams of 6, 2 in Waiver Pool...
I might not be a fan of C. Since we have few(er) players, everyone should play I think.
Thoughts?
Another construction?
Anyone else interested?

I like C particularly if can find another player so everyone has 7 and maybe counting top 5 scores. HOwever, may still need to account for players that might drop out or discontinue playing sometime during the year which would unbalance teams anyway.
When counting top scores, did it work out on a daily basis last year or weekly??
Any thoughts on adjusting waiver period to every 4 weeks instaed of every two?

Alright guys, after consulting Dunk, we've come up with the following:
There will be 3 teams:
1. Team DeeJay
2. Team KI
3. Team Weykool ? => Has to be confirmed to me... Someone else willing to step up, in case...?
Two teams will have 7 players
One will have 8.
If more people sign up the next few, then it might even out.
But no biggie, because the lowest scores will be dropped like last year.

TP #1 - 11/25 - 12/8
TP #2 - 12/9 - 12/22
TP #3 - 12/23 - 1/5
TP #4 - 1/6 - 1/19
TP #5 - 1/20 - 2/2
TP #6 - 2/3 - 2/16

TP #8 - 3/3 - 3/16
TP #9 - 3/17 - 3/30
TP #10 - 3/31 - 4/14
Draft:
We would like the draft to start on Monday or even Sunday Night. And then next Wednesday(11/25) we should be ready to go.
Waiver Draft:
Every team protects 6 players and the waiver draft lasts until all the players in the unprotected pool are taken.
Draft order will soon be determined.

any thoughts about a season 1 and season 2 GMD?
I only put it out there because:
1. TSN runs a basic league before and after the all-star game
2. Sometimes the GMD results are clearly defined come February
3. Come February, life takes over for me so my GMD participation drops off significantly :)
Just a thought. A re-shuffle after the break could create new discussion in a board that tends to fade after the break.

For competitin it might be interesting to have new draft in reverse order of finish in the first half. Champs could be crowned for 1st and 2nd period. An overall manager could be season champ.
At all star break wonder if any new players might be interested in the game. Also, as G mentioned we have few that might want to drop out at that time or have given up at that time.

I think G makes a strong argument. We can go 11 weeks from Nov. 25 through the all-star break, probably have a clear leader by that time, then start over for the last 8 weeks.
