Wow, a lot of people are unhappy with how their teams are doing. Mine's doing pretty well, in spite of four weeks of horrifically overpaying Brandon Wah (Roy). Which begs the question, what have people done that's even worse than throwing money away on this guy? Sure wish I had a trade to switch him for Dirk today.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to sharing thoughts with so many good managers. My e-mail is:

I was looking for your PM on TSN. As I told you earlier this is the "YEAR OF BLOOKI". I grabbed Monta Ellis thinking I was going to gain on you tonight only to see Morrow have the game of his life :(. The guy has 4 games under 13 pts this year and 2 over from 30-35 and the first game you own him he goes for 50. Unreal. Nice job.

Hey deejay thanks for the pick and yes that my team. Sorry I have been away all week.
When choosing what team to put in gmd I didn't realize that world rank previous to the start of gmd didn't count. I ended up putting my team with most pts but low rv. Would it be too late to switch teams?

well I had saved 2 trades this week (which killed RV) to move gasol and iguodala tomorrow for lebron + frye in time for the 12/2 Lebron Dday. But now that jennings is on the brink of plummet it looks like I have to get rid of him and hold one of the other two (probably iguodala since he is less owned.) That leaves me with having to wait on Lebron probably til dirk or boshes b2b 12/5. I would lose out on $ from early Lebron buyers but it seem would probably be less then the jennings losses for the next 2-3 days. My problem now would be that I need to fill a guard spot but don't know what guard to get. The only decent option i see is curry, then I would just trade jennings > curry today. If I keep the jennings game then it looks like Ariza tommorrow but then would eat the 1 in 5 to close next week. Or I could pick up evans tommorrow as well. Any sugestions?

Also do you guys think bosh is a must trade by 12/5, or assuming he keeps his average production, is he holdable til his 12/16 B2B

All 3 are good options illmatic, Curry/Evans/Ariza, it prolly comes down to who you like most.
Bosh remains to be seen, but I suspect he might start leaking on 12/6. he has been pretty good though, that always helps.

yea i will probably go with ariza or evans since don nelson's return 12/3 makes gsw play5ers questionable
what would you guys think is better ... the extra points from 3 dirk games vs. 2 lebron games. Or the $ lebron will make from 12/2-12/

I have iggy too. What I would do in your situation and is also what I'm planning is to go ahead and use your $ now to get deng.
You could always just trade Bosh to Lebron u lose a Bosh game but Bosh could be the jennings of next week with $ leaking I feel like. But u also get to keep the Iggy game on wed then trade him to boozer for his stretch.

I got cold feet yesterday and traded Jennings to Ariza earlier than planned. I decided to hold Lebron rather than trading here to have better flex next week when a few trades may be needed. There will be some big choices to make.
Bosh is a bit different than Jennings in that his Schedule is pretty good on the other side or 12/6 yet, so if forced to hold will likely only take a day or two of hits and may even get some buybacks depending on how the other popular big men are doing.

reeber ...boozer is already a definite on all my teams, the only reason i had to choose deron/ frye or deng / nene is that I need to fill a guard slot when all the trades are done.
And yea i leaned towards option 2...PHO sched is good through holidays and UTA has good outs into other schedules in the next few weeks ...only thing good about deng and nene is that they will be huge $$ makers in the next couple of days and I just wanted a shortsighted boost to GMD rankings ;)

As much as I would like to keep Jennings, I can't fight the market. I went to the less popular choice of Dahntay Jones tonight to free up some cash for planned moves after the refresh. Am I crazy for considering going tradeless on Thursday? I am thinking of this line-up:
G - Tyreke Evans, Monta Ellis, CDR, Dahntay Jones F - Lebron, Brook Lopez, Ilyasova, Boozer C - Nene, Pau Gasol or Tim Duncan
Hughes, Frye, Dirk and Bosh would be traded to get there.

I am going tradeless too very early in the week on all my teams I'm getting rid of Bargnani, Bosh, Dirk and Iggy
picking up Lebron, boozer, deron, and either Gasol or Kobe haven't decided yet

Agree Jennings will lose money steadily despite production. Not sure about D. Jones with Indiana situation in flux with Dunleavy returning and Rush situation.
Despite all the potential nice possible pickups, I can never recommend going tradeless early in the Week. Whatever, is made early is easily lost with an injury and then some. I think I would hold frye or Bosh as last trade. Hughes could be also held until 12/8 if needed.
Bosh could be held as the selling will be done by 12/7 and he has been productive as any named above and a decent schedule for another 8 games if needed.
Dirk probably needs to go 12/6 or before.

Thursday is awfully early to go tradeless. I was tradeless on Sunday for the last 3 straight weeks and I was burned each time. Something WILL go wrong and it is very tough to swallow with money losses day after day and there is nothing you can do. I almost made it this week going tradeless on Sunday, until Randolph sprained his ankle Monday night.
He has to go anyways, Randolph > Lopez is today's move. I'm contemplating whether to give up a Hughes game to get Tyreke early. I think he'll keep gaining for the next few days. It was an easier decision a couple games earlier but now with Hughes suddenly performing I am not so sure.

I can't recommend going tradeless on a Thursday either.
Pica: Already have Tyreke, but holding Hughes at least for tonight's game.... and prolly a bit longer, not many owners... might be good differentation...

I can't make up my mind here, what do you guys think of the following options:
a. Randolph, Gallo > Noah, Evans now (pro: boost in RV, could be top destination for those trading out of Gasol and Jennings, con: no Lopez whom I have wanted all along, loses a Gallo game)
b. Randolph > Lopez now, Hughes > Evans on Sat (pro: Lopez, better/more tsnp-wise logical transition, hangs onto a trade a little longer con: 3 days of Evans money)
How much further money gain should I expect out of Noah? His ownership stands at 24% right now (Lopez: 7%). Noah might get a massive influx of buys from Gasol owners today but dwindles afterward whereas Lopez's ownership is real low, and in my mind a better player.
In either case I'll get Boozer from David Lee tomorrow.

Not a big fan of Lopez. By my accounts, seems to give similar production as Noah for over $1mil more.

Will Bosh really be holdable throughout the week? His ownership is skyhigh and his last few games have been a few pts under average and with the emergence of utah's schedule and those that still don't have lebron and need the $$ to switch I can really see Bosh as being the Jennings of this week as I have said before.
I think its a necessary to pick up lebron for today's game and I'm deciding who to drop for him Dirk or Bosh, i lose one game either way but I think the $$ difference will be 300-400k if i wait for the B2B. Dropping Bosh gives me more $$ for other trades I will make in the next 2 days but if i Drop dirk it leaves me the option of holding Bosh and saving a trade. Suggestions?

My suggestion would be that you wait for Lebron till /12/6, and not swap 3 stud games for 2 stud games. But you prolly don't want to hear that :)

Illmatic, I would hold Bosh over Dirk just because if some crazy injury happens Bosh at least has a 6in9 on the other side of his 2 day gap. I'd much rather be "stuck" with him over Dirk. Also can you post your e-mail on here? We have some discussion going on there and would like you included.

I have emailed deejay
Yea trading 3 studs for 2 studs games seems really noobish. But being lebron is lebron i total out the point loss as being only around 30 pts according to their averages. On the other hand I can see lebron going up about 200-300k in the next 4 days with Dirk leaking up to 100-150k in that time. So it would really be a decision of 30 pts vs. 400k or so, and given my current RV plateau i could really use that.

All my moves are set in my head except
Duncan or Deron? Spit out your suggestions please.
Duncan longer term hold less money making oppurtunity then Deron probably and more susceptible to less minutes or not playing.
Deron, 3 week hold maximum, consistent production but a million more.

I was going to goto gasol but this is the only team i haven't picked up Evans yet and I think he needs to be taken. So I'm jus going to bite the ownership issue and just get into him today then use cash to hopefully go gallo > gasol on wed. Advice on this, should I just goto Gasol today and hope i can get into evans before his next stretch starting 12/15

yea the 2 for one before week break makes sense ... all though if u look at the big picture its the same amount of games total when u count in that LaL catches a game on Sac next week and also would allow me to go morrow > evans and make gallo into someone else.
I decided to just go evans though because I'm tired of him putting up stud numbers and me the only one not happy about it. Hopefully Gasol only goes up today so that i can get him on wed. (350k window)
