Another blowout in progress for CLE. Lebron not worth the money so far this season. Not that I'm trading him, but it's getting frustrating.

Varejao doing his best Ben Wallace - 21.5 TSN points with no shots or free throws even attempted.

Interesting, i feel pretty good about Thompson. YTD, there are only 3 guys under 4 mil that have scored over 30 pts a game.
Ariza Jennings and Thompson are those three guys. Thompson historically has foul troubles which leads to bad games at times but when he can stay in the game he can put up stud numbers too. Since I plan to own him for several weeks I will take my chances

Sorry G, I can't say I'm feeling good about Thompson. I've had him twice this year:
5 games from 11/17 to 11/26
17 31 27.5 18.5 22.5
and currently from 12/ 4 for two games so far
15.5 20
SO for the 7 games I've owned him , he's averaged less than 22 ppg. I guess I've soured a bit on him.
But I'm more concerned about his trending downward, take out the first 9 games of the year and he's averaged 25 for the next 10, including tonight's game. And scored more than 30 ( his season average )only twice
Whatever the reason, maybe it is foul trouble, although watching the game it wasn't, I'm going to have to think a little about keeping him beyond his next 2 games

I think Thompson has the talent to be a 30 pt average guy. In games he has gotten 35 minutes of play or more he has scored 39, 39.5, 47, 31, 27.5, 40, 30. When he doesn't get his court time because of a blowout or foul trouble he hasn't done so well.

Hawes is playing better though, which might hurt his stats...
Just saying...
