Hey Guys. I could really use some trade advice in a yahoo 9 cat roto league.
My main weakness is 3's, so i took a stab at trading for Lebron. My offer got countered and im trying to decide if this will help me win or not.
I would give up Joe Johnson, Vince Carter and Al Jefferson for Lebron James, Richard Jefferson and Blatche.
I already have:
PG: Wade
SG: Mayo(just traded for him for stuckey for his 3's)
G: Duhon(just picked him up/3's)
SF: Johnson(had been my G Spot til now)
PF: Jefferson
F: Butler
C: Bosh
C: Nene
Util: Curry
Util: Udrih
B: Carter(had been SF til today)
B: Josh Howard
B: Bogut.
At first i did not like to offer because i will most likely drop jefferson and blatche for webster and someone like Hinrich/A. Randolph/Head.
I keep thinking i should do the trade, but i cant help but also think trading away Johnson/Jefferson will hurt my chances at 1st. Im currently swapping 2nd/3rd daily with the owner of Lebron James.
Should i do it? |

Absolutely. Lebron will help in a number of categories. Moving Johnson & Jefferson will hurt (though probably not as much as continuing to varry Curry on your roster :) )
Hinrich is a great FA p/u right now if you can go it and will help you with treys.
Is this a keeper league? Probably not if someone is willing to move Lebron.

Looks good to me--I would take it if someone offered me the trade as I think it may be easier to get the "fill in" around Lebron. Although Al Jefferson appears to be getting stronger, you have center and PF covered since bogut is apparently now healthy.

Thanks for the advice. Ive taken the trade.
The players i want to pick up off FA, i just gotta hope they are still there when the trade goes through so i can drop Jefferson/Blatche.
Curry has been inconsistent, but he put up a great game for me yesterday. I need to hope for more of those.
Nah, not a keeper league. As a backup for Bogut, i can always pick up Dalembert(at least he gets some blocks).
Ive also offered up Butler for Jamison, not sure how that will go.
