That's a favorite quote from The Wire, which is one of my favorite TV shows of all-time.

I'm sure he'll put up a big numbers, but Gerald (no points or rebounds in the fist six minutes) is off to a slow start.

Well this sucks. Camby's also playing with the flu or food poisoning. Found out at the last second, would have taken Jamison otherwise, ugh. They'll still probably both be top, if not the top gainers at least.

Sports Network still doesn't even have it. I really wish teams would announce things earlier...

Hopefully Kaman will be good to go tomorrow and Camby gets over whatever bug he has quickly. I figured since he's starting tonight it can't be too bad, right?

Chris Kaman tweaked his back during pregame warmups and will not suit up for the Clippers on Tuesday.
The Clippers TV crew reports that he's doubtful for Wednesday's game, and is expected to have an MRI on Thursday. It sounds like more than a "tweak" if they've already scheduled an MRI, but we'll wait for the results before panicking. DeAndre JOrdan should start at center while Kaman is sidelined.

Chris Kaman-C- Clippers Jan. 12 - 8:06 pm et

Chris Kaman will not suit up for the Clippers on Tuesday.

We should have some details soon about what caused this sudden DNP. DeAndre Jordan will start at center, alongside PF Marcus Camby

Kaman and Camby, what a disaster
We should have plenty of company and a lot of decisions to make

25 - Camby pull the fire alarm?

On another note, Duncan doing well again. Too bad they're blowing the Lakers out of the building.

From Rotoworld

The Clippers-Grizzlies game in Memphis has been suspended and it sounds like a possible fire is the reason.
Lisa Dillman of the L.A. Times tweeted that she was evacuated from the arena, heard fire trucks and smelled smoke. Hopefully they'll be able to complete the game tonight. Jan. 12 - 10:17 pm et

My question is what happens to the stats? Do they count at least for what we have so far or is the entire game got to be replayed or continued another time? Do not think we have ever had to have a building evacuated?

I have Baron, Camby and Kaveman on my best team. They combine to average 109.5 on the season and totaled 105.5 tonight so I guess everything was pretty normal.

I think tonight's game epitomized Marcus Camby's wussiness more than any of the other myriad horror stories involving him. He has a minor ailment, plays very well for a quarter showing that he's not too bad off, then sits out the rest of the game. I swear that this guy just likes to take breaks sometimes.

Camby is always a terror when others have him and I don't and is always an immediate disaster when I get him. I will celebrate when he retires and can no longer wreak havoc on fantasy hoops.
