damoose - you should have been able to self-edit that post, even if it was posted under a different ID#. See item 4 on the instructions sheet of your GMD spreadsheet.

I think Gerald Wallace may have just been the final blow to my chances at winning. This is going to be a brutal week, and it doesn't help that I'm on vacation W-F.

****INTRUDER****

SU. your catastrophic thinking never fails to crack me up. All of the other top teams have Crash, a limited number of trades and probably a few moves they want to make in the coming week. Oh, and less money than you. It’s a pain in the a** to have to check Crash’s status on Wednesday, but his game is early, there are people to trade him for and he was a short hold anyway. You’re still favored to win the championship---buck up!

I don't think SU would make it under a slab of cement for 6 days. I keep thinking OMG he must have dropped out of top 100 so I check and find out he's 5th or 3rd or 1st. I've come close to sending him some money several times.

Haha, there's no way I'm still favorted to win. I'm just frustrated, I checked back at my spreadsheet a few weeks ago and I was supposed to have 11 trades right now. I'm just losing longterm hold after longterm hold within a matter of two or three days due to either poor performance or injury or coaches suddenly yanking them from the rotation, and since I went from 11 to 1 I missed all the early movement this week of certain guys and now can't afford any good combination.

Well, I guess you can concede to little 'ol me if you want. Any chance there will be a work stoppage some time soon and the season can end while I hold a tenuous lead?

Whenever I need a little "pick me up" I come to this thread and read SU's posts. I've dubbed him a "fantasy hypochondriac". If you didn't know better you'd think he was mired in the mid-100s, not battling to get out of second place in the world. The frustration of one of the best minds ever to play fantasy hoops is always good for a chuckle.

I got a particular kick out of his reference to his "spreadsheet" where he was supposed to have 11 trades today, yet he has only one. It reminded me of Deadeye's famed "treasure map". It really is a shame that real life in the form of injuries, illnesses, coaches decisions, etc. have spoiled his perfect plan. And he writes as if it only happens to him.

So I just wanted to thank him for the amusement he regularly provides, as well as the moves I occasionally steal.

Haha, I forgot about that treasure map. Mine is less of a treasure map than a map to a heart attack or psych ward vist before I turn 28. Basically there's one tab called "Planning 1/01" for example followed by several tabs named nothing but curses.
