I have no idea what to do if Wallace can't play tonight. Theoretically I could get Gasol from him and hold Jamison instead.

Probably holding since he does have 4 additional games this week. The question may be how well does he play with sore ankle this week with dense schedule.

Not exactly the going away present I was looking for from Jamison, but perhaps the extra workload has gotten the better of him. Anyhow, Pau is back onboard.

Lopez at most would be a 2 week hold as 2/4 has a 1 in 7.

Has been putting my team on cruise control the past week and it's time to do some planning as several players' schedules comes to an end pretty soon. Probably won't be trading anybody for the rest of trade week, save perhaps Evans > Foye, but I am on the fence on that trade even Foye has a 2 game advantage to Evans in the coming 2 weeks. Evans is already a brand name in this game and with the expected big game on Tuesday he could recoup whatever losses very quickly as he could be regarded as a must have beginning Jan29.

So looking ahead a little bit. I see people are going to be divided about Kobe, given his shooting woes. I suppose he is the prime example of 72m+ RV teams and 67m+ RV teams. The top RV teams can more or less afford to have Kobe on their roster with slightly subpar production. I have no idea yet what to do at the next refresh but I suspect it will be a very busy trade day, as the Suns and perhaps Bobcats (at least Diaw for sure) comes off the book. People will be giving NJ players serious looks.

Too bad that Evans couldn't put up a better effort last night and I'm wondering if he's holdable through the 1 in 5. And does anyone plan to get Kobe at all? I am just short of going Nash > Kobe straight up but would be feasible if moving Evans or Diaw to players like Foye, Webster, etc. But I am not really sold on both guys, but I do feel Kobe's injury will be sorted out pretty soon.

Pica, I think that in general trading players who are good values with a 1 in 5 after which their schedule is good again is a big mistake. Tyreke's been erratic lately, but he's still averaging 31.5 in the last 15 days and 33 in the last 30. He'll lose money today and probably some tomorrow, but then he'll make money Tu, Th and F so it's no biggie moneywise and I don't think you can get many more points by trading him.

Looking at your team, Crash > Lopez should be enough to raise the money for Nash > Kobe (who looks a lot more buyable after what he did today) plus Diaw should go for a cheaper player. Delfino's been going crazy this week.

Pica I like Delfino too as a good cheapie with flex, especially over the 2 that you mentioned. He is going to make a ton over the next week and with any luck can be held through the break.

No way would I buy Foye at this point. I myself am moving him tomorrow to Delfino.

I like Crash to Zach Randolph better than Lopez but that may not get you the dollars you need for Kobe.

Kobe could be very nice differential for you. Personally I just don't have the room for him with all the other must haves.

Trying to decide between Lopez and Randolph myself. Lopez has only one more game than Randolph before he has to go, after which Randolph is holdable for 2-3 more weeks. However, Lopez is cheaper (which can always matter in some unforeseen future move) and I would expect to keep all the money I make on Lopez, whereas Randolph will be perceived by many as a sell after the 5 in 7 while I would probably want to keep him through the dry spell. Tough call.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I've found a way to get Kobe by Hibbert/Dalembert > Delfino after tonight's game and then Nash > Kobe tomorrow. I see that Nash and Kobe both have a game tomorrow but I see Nash is somewhat banged up and had been subpar the past 3 games. Should be both a money and point gainer.

So two injuries to deal with, but my intention is to hold both Beasley and Delfino. Beasley is able to return in the second half and sounds fairly confident he'll be able to play on Friday. Delfino entered the game again very late, and saw no news on his injury so far, so "no news is good news" I suppose. Besides, I have no idea who(m) to replace both with to be honest.

The planned move was Dalembert > Perkins. If there isn't any update on the above guys' injury, then I will go ahead. Do you guys think they are holdable?

I have Kaman, Webster & Paul and 1 trade:(
Kaman says he hopes to play next game.
Webster is losing minutes to Batum and has been horrible anyway.
Paul possible injury.

Plan right now is to wait to hear more about Paul, suffer through another couple of Webster games and hope Kaman does play.

38) My trade is going to be K-Mart > Noah on Tuesday regardless of what happens with Wade and Tyreke. Unless Noah is hurt again (which I probably wouldn't find out until after freeze time anyway). I'm just forging ahead as if nothing is going wrong like the fiddle players on the Titanic.

CBG,

I am not sure why want to trade K. Mart since has has been doing well and although Noah has extra game before break with trade if one of the other guys is out your games are even anyway. Noah is not assured of playing all the games between now and break either.

Since you do not have much flex you are in same position I am on another team with tyreke and plan on holding for now and possibly even if he dnps tomorrow. I looked at Rondo since already have Curry but I think Paul will be back shortly and keeping money to do that instead.

Noah is better than Martin and his schedule advantage eventually builds to 14 to 10. Noah is averaging 46.5 in his last 2 games so he can't be that badly hurt and hopefully the 3 days off will help.

Surprisingly, their 30 day averages are not that much different but K mart certainly has been more inconsistent than Noah overall. KMart might be a nice differentiator. I have considered buying him to hold until the break on a few teams particularly if injury occurs here.

twolves (or anyone else) what's going on with Kevin Love? I've been planning to buy him back this Thursday since I sold him and Maggette was the perfect trade-in. Now he's coming off the bench and getting fewer minutes. Does Rambis just think that his game and Jefferson's are incompatible? I think I still want him (even if Maggette is out again tomorrow). He's averaging a passable 30 in his last 6 (43.5 in the last game) so I might take the chance that his minutes will go up and he'll wreak havoc the way he did when we had him before.

Noah looks like he might be a complete disaster. I'm looking for an exit strategy already if he has a crap game tomorrow.

As far as Love goes, it appears he will be coming off the bench to give second unit a boost. However, He should still get 30 minutes + or - depending on how things are going with other big men. Coming off the bench he can be a bit more of a scoring threat but overall, not sure how that translates in TNSP although he has been very good recently. However, I would expect some variability.

I had Love penciled in about 4 injuries ago, from Beasley I think, but I think that ship has sailed. It's hard enough fitting in all of the good value starters after the break without worrying about the guy coming off the bench.

I have to get a forward from Maggette who costs 6.99 or less. Love has the 3rd highest TSNP/game on the year among players who fit that description behind Brook Lopez (already have of course) and Camby (no schedule). Love is easily the cheapest player on the list. I think the only other plausible options are Deng and Horford and they're not too exciting. I don't like bench players either but does anyone have a suggestion? I won't make a combo trade---I definitely want to keep 3 trades, one of which I want to use Tuesday.

I thought long and hard about whether to trade Marc Gasol or not, and couldn't find anyone worthwhile to get. Deng looks like a trade that I will regret after the first half of his first game and I just can't shake the feeling that he will be just like Beasley 3 weeks ago where he's barely playing well enough and only staying relevant by his strong schedule. The problem is he costs almost twice as much as Beasley.

So probably just sit back and observe in the next couple days what will turn out. Sure has been an eventful past week.

I already have to bail on Noah. What a fiasco. I'm stunned that 65 more teams got suckered in today after all the warning signs yesterday. Talk about a DNP waiting to happen---he's liable to be shut down until after the All-Star break. There's no one I like with a good current schedule to trade for so I think I'm going to get Randolph. His schedule doesn't really heat up until Feb. 21, but he's better than using an extra trade on a one game advantage of an inferior player or a two game advantage of a far inferior player (Deng).

Pica, I think you did the right thing by holding Gasol---he and Randolph are already buyable again.

Question is when to make the trade---who will lose more money tomorrow, Randolph or Noah? Lotta "Krustys" might trade Randolph a day late.
