Paul making progress: New Orleans coach Jeff Bower indicated on Sunday that G Chris Paul is still out "indefinitely", but he is making encouraging progress.

Paul's Progress Slowed:

Chris Paul (knee) has still not been given clearance to run.

Paul is exactly four weeks removed from the surgery that cleaned up meniscus cartilage in his left knee, and the Hornets still have no official target date for his return. He's riding a bike and shooting around, but admitted that the knee still doesn't feel great. Mid-March has been speculated as a return date by beat writers and at this point that sounds like a best-case scenario for owners.

Chris Paul is hopeful he'll return by the end of March, according to Yahoo Sports.
"I don’t care if I come back and there are three games left â€" I'm playing before the season is over," Paul said. "But I can't come back until I can help the team. I don't want to come back until I'm fully healed." We're starting to get the feeling that those mid-March projections for CP3's return were premature. Paul still isn't running.

Rotoworld:

Brendan Haywood failed to score in seven minutes on Friday before leaving the game after his lower back tightened up.

Chris Bosh (stomach) practiced on Saturday and should return to action on Sunday.
Bosh was checked into a hospital as a precaution, suffering from a stomach virus and dehydration. He had already missed six games with a sprained ankle so he may need a few days to scrape off the rust

Spurs PG Tony Parker fractured the fourth metacarpal on his right hand late in the first half of Saturday's game.

Teammate Matt Bonner suffered the same exact injury this season, forcing him to miss 15 games, or roughly four weeks of action. That unofficial timetable would leave Parker just a handful of games in mid-April, and fantasy owners should start scouring the waiver wire for possible replacements. George Hill will likely assume PG duties, with either Manu Ginobili or Roger Mason starting at SG.

Not any new info, but Lebron was " rested " and sitting had nothing to do with his ankle. Supposedly:

MILWAUKEE -- Cavaliers coach Mike Brown insisted it was his decision to rest LeBron James against at Milwaukee on Saturday night and that it had nothing to do with the fact that James turned his ankle in Friday night's victory over the Detroit Pistons.

Jawad Williams started in James' place.

"He has played a lot of minutes for us, and I felt it would be good for him and for the team to hold him out," Brown said of James, who had led the Cavs or tied for the lead in scoring in 16 straight games and is averaging 30 points, 7.2 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.7 steals in 39 minutes per game. "This is my decision based on the minutes I think he has played and his body and all that other stuff.

"He has carried a big load, not only scoring, but the minutes he has played. He has played a high volume of minutes for us because of the injuries, because of the new guys coming in and me trying to shuffle things around. Even though at times he may not like it, even he needs to sit down and rest and recuperate."

Brown has also hinted he may sit him tomorrow. I would bet against it.

Brown was asked if he had to talk James into sitting.

"He's a competitive person, and he wants to be out there," the coach said. "Sometimes I listen to him. Sometimes I won't listen to him. Tonight is a great opportunity for him to get some rest."

Brown did not rule out sitting James on Monday night against the Spurs. The Cavs have three days off after that game.

Gerald Wallace now "figures to miss at least two games" with a sprained left ankle.
While an MRI brought good news in that there's no significant damage, it could still be severely sprained. He's traveling with the team, leaving a small window of hope he can play on Tuesday at Indiana. But while it doesn't sound like he's officially been ruled out for either game, it also sounds like there's no chance for Sunday and Tuesday is a serious long shot. Owners in weekly leagues will have a tough decision to make for the playoffs next week. Mar. 14 - 11:10 am et

News: Deron Williams aggravated his shoulder during Sunday's loss to the Thunder, and briefly left the game, but returned and finished with 27 points on 8-of-14 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, 14 assists, and a steal.
Impact: He looked to be in a pretty good amount of pain, and owners should be on the DNP-CD lookout until the injury subsides. Between this and his lingering wrist injury, he is limping to the finish line but luckily it hasn't affected his production.

News: LeBron James reportedly had blurred vision for 15 minutes during Sunday's game against the Celtics after being poked in the eye by Kevin Garnett.
Impact: "I was lucky to be able to finish the game off," said James, who had a headache after the game from the hit. "It stayed blurry for about 15 minutes." It didn't appear serious and it didn't affect his performance as he posted a 30-8-7-2-3 line, but anything to do with his Highness' health is priority No. 1 around here.

Tyreke exited Friday's game against the Bucks with a concussion and did not return.

The rookie phenom is having X-rays to see if his jaw is broken as well, so this is a scary situation for Evans and the Kings. If the jaw is fractured his season is likely over and the Rookie of the Year award is out the window. Expect more updates in the morning

Andrew Bogut is expected to miss Friday night's game against the Miami Heat after coach Scott Skiles revealed a mid-back strain.
"He's got a mid-back strain, nothing serious," Skiles said. "But it's sore enough that he won't play." His recent decline in stats is now starting to make sense. Hopefully one game will give him the rest he needs. Make sure he's out of your lineup Friday.

Son of an OUCH!
Bucks center Andrew Bogut was injured when he fell following an alley-oop dunk on Saturday. He was diagnosed with a slightly dislocated elbow, but X-rays revealed no broken bones.
Bogut landed hard on his back with his right arm underneath his body, and it's amazing that he (apparently) avoided anything too serious. Milwaukee is riding high heading into the playoffs, but wouldn't stand a chance without Bogut. We'll post a timetable for his return once we know more. Apr. 3 - 9:44 pm et

Dwyane Wade-G-Heat Apr. 14 - 11:24 am et

Heat beat writer Ira Winderman tweeted that Dwyane Wade, Jermaine O'Neal, and Udonis Haslem will likely miss Wednesday's season finale against New Jersey.
If the Heat lose and the Bucks win, Miami will avoid the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs by slipping to the sixth seed. The Hawks may actually be the better team but it looks like the Heat prefer a trip to Atlanta over Boston. This is dreadful news on the final day of the fantasy playoffs if you own Wade but Michael Beasley should play and could have a big game.
