Well isn't the trade deadline coming up this Thursday?
Utah...no chatter on moving Boozer...will regret that huh?
Stoud going to Clev is the hottest and latest chatter.
I personally would love to see Jason Kidd leave Dallas and Nash come in somehow but I doubt I see that...Ha Ha Ha

Funny that T-Mac is in the spotlight when the trade is really K-Mart for Landry, which looks suspiciously like a talent for talent trade. I thought those were outlawed in the NBA.

The Knicks have agreed to trade Milicic to the Timberwolves in exchange for Brian Cardinal, ESPN's Chad Ford reports.

How soon could Jaimison play for Cle? Doesn't all the players involved have to have their completed physicals done in order for anyone in the deal able to play?

Story with details on the Cavs deal

All players are subject to a physical, but teams typically would give players a bit of a heads up on stuff so that they can get to their new owners quickly. But Jamison hasn't practiced yet either, so it is unlikely he'll play tonight but tomorrow against the Bobcats seems more likely.

The AP is reporting that the Bulls have traded John Salmons to the Bucks for Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander.
It's official. A change of scenery might do Salmons some good. After a strong season last year, he's been disappointing. He should see his share of play in Milwaukee.

The Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks have agreed to terms that will expand the Houston-Sacramento deal into a three-way trade that lands Tracy McGrady with the Knicks, according to NBA front-office sources.

The Knicks will acquire McGrady and Sergio Rodriguez from Sacramento, sources said.

The Rockets get Kevin Martin, Jordan Hill and Jared Jeffries from New York and will have the right to swap first-round picks with New York in 2011 as well as take on New York's 2012 first-round pick.

Sacramento obtains Houston's Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey and New York's Larry Hughes.

Amazing I started this thread on all of the news about Stoud getting traded....now it looks like he is going to be a Sun?
I am not sure.....Two days after coach George Karl announced he is suffering from throat and neck cancer, the Nuggets visit the Cleveland Cavaliers, who could have new acquisition Antawn Jamison in the lineup for the first time as they try to win their franchise-record 14th straight Thursday night.

Jodie Meeks-G- Bucks Feb. 18 - 12:57 pm et

The Bucks have agreed to trade Jodie Meeks and Francisco Elson to the 76ers in exchange for Royal Ivey, a second-round pick and Primoz Brezec and Royal Ivey.

Source: ESPN.com

I wonder if Ivey's salary counts twice against the Buck's cap...?

Re:16

Can anyone tell me what the H@LL the Rockets are doing here?

Carl Landry is not only a better player than Kevin Martin, he makes about 20% of what he does. Yeah, they got Jordan Hill and a lottery-protected 1st rounder, but Biiiiig Deal!

I know they already have Yao but this sounds like a bad Chinese trade.

I am not that smart.....but it all ties into sending T-Mac but like you said Landry is a great player for a long time they must feel they have enough big guys?
Teams I look for a trade...IND, SA, PHO, MIA, UTH

Landry is a rebounding machine, but has been inconsistent at scoring. It sounds like the Rockets are trying to go a little more small ball by upgrading at SG with Martin.

They still have Scola in the middle (who is more mobile than Landry) and they get Jeffries who is a very good forward who was wasting away in New York. But they no longer have the banging presence in the middle, particularly with Hayes and his knees.

Jordan Hill looks to be a throw in. I'd be interested to see if that guy develops into the next Landry.

Per Kevin McHale...
Houston gets a pick from NY
Houston was 2.7 Mil over the luxery tax....would have to pay 2.7 mil into the rebate pool they will now draw from. They got below that They saved money in the deal at about 4.5 mil in the deal rebate check for 4 mil and the 2.7 mil equals around getting a 11 mil savings on the deal plus getting Kevin Martin.....if NY does nto sign the big FA guys in Offseason they will be the worst team in the NBA...they have thier work cut out for them.

Z' will be a hot big man on the market in 30 days or 30 days after the Wizards buy him out.
Denver, Atl, Dallas woudl love to get him so do not count on CLE being the place he lands......I assume he is loyal and good chance to go back to cavs as winning the Championship is probably
Gooden I hear will not get a buy out...Clips want to keep him till season end from what I heard on NBA TV
Wiz get Arenas's contract voided...WOW they have a lot of rebuilding and tons of money to do it.

New York is going to let T-Mac display his skills in two months and then he will be a FA to go sign somewhere. Thing is NY is so heavily weighted in this upcoming FA market...I sure Hope they can sign all of these big names or they are going to have no one to build a team with. Gamble for sure....or maybe they already know they got James on his way?

Sasha Vujacic-G- Lakers Feb. 18 - 2:36 pm et

The Lakers and Raptors are discussing a Sasha Vujacic for Marcus Banks swap, according to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld.com.

The Lakers have gotten sick of Vujacic and the Raptors are on a quest to acquire every European player in the league. Neither play would be worth an add in fantasy.
