It took less than 4 minutes for Blatche and Turkeyglue to get 2 PF's each. Crap

And what do you know, Westbrook is going off. Seems so predictable in hindsight.

Anyone else look at the Knick box score then check T-Mac's price? It's 4.85 million by the way, probably more than I'd want to spend on him, but he does have flex. Wonder if anybody actually had the guts to buy T-Mac today.

Still debating...
I don't think there was a game I've ever wanted to go into OT less. Not having Westbrook SUCKS.

SU, I would not complain tonight about OT since you have Lee.
Maybe you could avoid Tyreke so he can have a big night.
T Mac looks like he may need consideration if he can do this after not playing for this long.

Interesting, looks like I'm selling Rondo. Love the position lock. But that's what I was going to go with anyway probably. I sold him a bit after 8:30 and then just sat there going back and forth wondering if I should switch. I figured though that while 2 games for 2 trades is tempting, it's a situation where Player B averages more and Player A is going to lose a lot of money so I couldn't justify it.
This is a move I REALLY didn't want to make. There was no way I could justify not doing it though from a numbers / logic standpoint. It would have felt a lot better if I had taken Westbrook...

The rebound sailed past Westbrook on the last shot. Oh so close!

At least Westbrook's game ended with no TD. I'm assuming people's trade-in for Westbrook was Rondo. Allowing for the chance that I could be missing something I don't understand the move. A two game advantage of a player who's not as good for an estimated 50 points, then I guess people plan to triangle back to Rondo from Deron but by then Westbrook is nearing a sell point anyway. I'm holding Rondo and eventually trading Deron for a 3-game advantage of J-Smoove. I'm curious for Westbrook buyers to explain their logic. I'm respectfully puzzled, though you guys definitely got over tonight.

Carlos Delfino has turned on the suckitude afterburners. He's gone for Collision tomorrow. Wow, just before he goes ultra-green and has a 4 in 5. Feel like I'm mismanaging this somehow but it the only move that makes sense.

Well I for am glad you moved Rondo. I love having my favorite player to myself if even for only 4 games. At this point my chances at staying ahead of you are slim but at least now there is a bit of differential that I like. Hopefully I can at least make you earn whatever the value of those trades are. Best of luck and it will be fun no matter how it turns out.

I'll say this for Carlos Delfino: at least he's making the decision of whether to sell him or not easy.

I know I'm going to regret selling him, this was not a good fantasy basketball day. For my team it came down to having a similar player in Rondo's slot for 4 games and making money vs. having Rondo in that slot for 4 games losing money and THEN moving to that player. Tyreke (or Westbrook if I had decided to go that way) was going to come in regardless and wasn't really a part of the equation. If it was an issue of straight up going Rondo to Tyreke or Westbrook I wouldn't make that move 100/100 times. I was only a few hundred K from being able to keep Rondo.

CBG, I think the rationale for Rondo to Westbrooke are related to trade position, RV and TNSP postion. If you have extra trade to gain ground, may have to make choices. Both Westbrooke and Rondo can be streaky and have both been playing well. Rondo just had a 2 20s TNSP games prior to his last two and the matchups for Westbrooke look good coming up. Since Feb 1, Westrbrooke has been averaging more than Rondo, so one might argue that the point difference might be worth 80 points rather than 50.
Westbrooke is a second year player and I am wondering if he may be emerging and going to the next level to be with the Rondos.

Westbrook has played very well recently and I did notice that OKC has mainly favorable upcoming match-ups but Rondo has averaged 40+ since I've had him and I couldn't come up with a plan for Westbrook on my team where he wouldn't trade back for Rondo on March 2 since Deron > J-Smoove works so well on Feb. 28. So that would be two trades for 50-60 points (80 at most), not worth it. How are people planning to get back into Rondo and how long are you keeping Westbrook? Is he worth keeping through a 4 in 10 if Rondo's not? Are you using the money you saved to upgrade elsewhere? Still puzzled by the popularity of this trade, but I know everyone's team is different plus I think people are more likely to bite on so-so moves because of the post All-Star break trade surplus. Anyway, I think the timing is right for a Rondo quadruple double tomorrow, don't you Reeb?

26 Ole Westbrook +170K, I'll take a 340K swing anytime :)
16 & 25 CBG In response to your question, when I bought Rondo a while ago, I considered him as a possible season long hold. I had already held him through one blip in his schedule, and other than now and one future hiccup, his schedule is about as good as it gets.
But the opportunity presented itself to : 1) Grab a hot player in Westbrook with a better short term schedule 2) make some $ 3) Provide a smooth ( no pun intended for your Deron=> Josh plan ) transition out of Deron ( back to Rondo ) 4) Free cash for Bogut => Howard shortly
I like Rondo allot, but 15 day averages say Westbrook is a better player right now. You can spin statistics anyway you want, 30 day and YTD averages say Rondo is better, but I'll roll the dice. Right now I think they are similar players.
Now I just totally jinxed Westbrook. And Rondo is a sure bet for a triple double.
But rosters are all different, we all make different plans. Some work, some backfire, that's the beauty of the game.

Have to agree with Dave here.
Now don't get me wrong Rondo is a great player. And Ill have him back on 3/2.
Many ways to play the game....

I'm actually really kicking myself for not making the Rondo to Westbrook move...obviously hindsight is 20/20 but I'd say it's a strong move.
That said, hopefully Rondo goes nuts and makes the sellers pay...

Rondo to Westbrook was one of those luxury moves for those of you who actually have extra trades. It wasn't necessary but there was nothing wrong with it. CBG, I'll settle for the 3d.

I've had to continue focusing on RV which is why I made the Rondo>Durant move. Wish I had 80 mil so it wouldn't be a bother.
