Most interested to see how Collison does tonight. If he has a 45-50 pts game, it might keep the bleeding to a minimum. Otherwise, it could be a massacre.

Kidd is terrible again. I think he plays better without Caron in the lineup.

Cavs are up by 36 and Lebron is still in there. I guess the coach won't care if his star gets hurt.

So money, why are you figuring a massive sell off for Collison? Do you find his production disappointing?

Collison = STUD That Curry sched is quite tempting, but I may need to look at Howard and Zach the way things are going tonight...LOL

It's intriguing how Collison can go for 35 pts 3 ast last night, but have 4 pts 13 ast tonight. Versatile player...

I know there alot of good schedules coming up, but why the heck are Durant and Westy being sold? Their next 4 games are as good as they could have - Kings, Nuggets, Clippers and Kings. Puzzling...

Durant was only meant to be held until his next b2b .... I spent a good amount of time today deciding whether to trade Durant > Rondo and use the extra cash to go Collison > Curry ....and as can be seen tonight and I'm sure tommorrow that would have gotten me like 600-700k cash swing over a couple days.
My original plan and plan i'm sticking with is to hold collison and do Kidd>Rondo.
The reasin i chose to go the second route was Kidd's bad performance the last 2 games and collison's stud performance tonight. I'm sure you also saw me and CBG's analysis on the upcoming curry 4in5 and the bad matchups as well as Paul's projected return. Also, I too like Durant's matchup with Den on his last game of his b2b. I hope he busts out a 60+ to stick it to the sellers.

Earlier in the season when I had no discipline, I would be trading Howard and Collison right now. But I'm staying put and waiting...

ya trading howard would be a sucker move
he can always come out of nowhere and put up a string of 50s, on top of that there is no real option to trade him tommorrow into, im sure those that want evans or rondo already had a planned way into them, only decent move i see that would gain games would be to trade into granger for his quick 4 in 5. But not a move I would make personally.

Matic, actually as I've thought about it I think I would go Collison > Curry if I had the cash, but I'm not going to make an extra trade to free up money. I'm not sure how bad the Collison sell-off will be. If you click on the link in the Chris Paul note, it doesn't mention March 12 as a target date. Here's what it says:
Meanwhile, three-time All-Star point guard Chris Paul remains on schedule to return in possibly two weeks.
That sounds vague to me. Paul certainly may be back as soon as the 12th, but timetables on injured players returns are seldom accurate. Paul will play when he's ready to, that's all we really know. Oh, and Collison's great, we know that too.

yea i didnt go with the collsion>curry move, that would have forced me to do durant > rondo tonight. While it would give me good RV gain I didn't want to be forced to hold Kidd. Making the collison curry move would also have a collateral effect of me having to hold 4 Kidd games as opposed to 2 Durant + 2 Deron when I work out my next week schedule into the mix. And since collison showed his 20 game last time was a fluke by throwing up an almsot 50 tonight I figured hey would it be so bad to bleed money on the best deal in the game when he has an upcoming 4in5 and that saves me 2 trades as well.

on a side note, just in case you check my GMD team and wonder why I'm doing all the moves that I speak against on my posts, its because since my gmd flopped early in the season I actually set the team up to do the opposite of the moves I plan for my other teams. That way if I somehow mess up, atleast team Weykool gmd gets a boost =).

I'm truly confused about what's going to happen with Collison. He will certainly be sold some, but it may just be by people with really large RV and unused cash so the sell-off may not be huge. There are certainly other ways into Rondo and Rondo costs almost 6 million more than Collison. The other players to get would be Curry (already owned by 28%) and Blatche (30% ownership) so many won't have an option from Collison. Or there may be a big sell-off tomorrow and a week-long bloodbath, I can't tell. I'm bracing myself for the possibility that Collison will be under a million by the time I trade him.

Worst case scenario
we do the "patient" thing and we hold collison through tommorrow. He does bad (or even decent like 30ish) on 3/3 and on 3/5. Then on top of that we hear that Paul comes back in time for the 4in5 (even if limited minutes it would be enough for collison not to warrant a position on our godly rosters this late in season.) No one buys back into collison and it will be a week long bloodbath of brandon jennings proportions!
Best case scenario
Collison leaks no doubt over next 4 days but maintains his 40+ average. No news of Paul returning and people start buying back into him for his GSW game. And also Curry does terrible on his away games vs. top defense teams and we are happy for having saved a trade.
In reality I'm atleast hoping for collison to continue his 40 performance and at the very least, we can trade him out mid next week if it does become a huge problem. Only problem is his schedule doesn't go nicely into any targeted players for next week, and there is also the problem of going 1.5 mill into a stud.
