Dwight to Lebron will be common tomorrow. I havne't decided yet. I would have to combine him and another to raise the cash. Not worth the trades at this point.

i know howard will lose tommorrow but to trade him would mean either I reverse my trade tonight and keep iggy all week which id definitely not happening, or I trade Howard to david west for his good schedule for 7 days which sounds tempting but when I do out the numbers doesn't really net me points.

Unless I just did howard>Melo for the 2 game advantage until the OKC/Bosh/Bogut pickup date, but I probably should have done that trade at the beginning of the week, I was really hoping for Howard to put up 60s for once =(.

In same spot with Howard->Melo
but Melo gets 2 games after Howard's week is done
do we want to trade 2 Dwight games for 2 Melo games?

Howard has to go after his b2b anyway ....initally I had planned to move howard at end of week to either Melo or Gasol for 2 games en route to Bosh or Durant.

The only advantage in holding howard i see is the ability to make a decision on which of the 2 to get for 2 games. But tonight's iguodala type performance leads me to believe it should just be tommorrow for Melo (already have lebron via iggy).

David west could be a decent 2nd option since i like his matchups ALOT. But i always like looking at season averages and 9 out of 10 times id rather have melo > west. True 2 Howard games is better then 2 melo games on the average, but were also talking about a possible 200-300k money swing for the loss of a 6 pt average (season stats.) So i guess if your'e still worried bout $$ i think right move would be to move to Melo tommorrow.

it really pisses me off because 2 weeks ago ...i forced howard / getting him put my whole planned rotation out of sync (kind of like wade woulda done if i forced him this week) but I was hoping for a 50 tsnp streak from him, instead I do get a few 50s but three 20 or lower performances. His three worst games all season have come in the last two weeks =(.

Screw it, I'm leaning towards Howard to bron as well. I could use Zach but then I'm giving up a James game. Josh has to come aboard soon anyways so I might as well keep at this point. If Howard had put up 50+ it would have made this decision much harder.

yea he did and the games he did bad the last 2 weeks has been because of blowouts and foul trouble, but he has sucked in production nonetheless and since he is gone in 2 days might as well trade him out for Bron Melo or D west tommorrow. Trip digit loss tom night no doubt! I'll take a 6 pt average loss to forgo his bleeds and profit melo or west's gains for the week! Just don't know which of the two to get yet.

Howard has sucked by his standards since I've had him (35.5 average) but he's still a superstar and he actually has a 4 in 7 starting tomorrow even with the day off. What made his schedule attractive to me was that it extended to next week's W-Th back-to-back and damned if I'm not going to keep him that long.

If he's really someone's only way into LeBron I guess it makes sense, though I haven't thought it out because I'm getting LeBron a different way. But trading Howard for West or Melo is a waste IMHO. With West you get a one game advantage of an inferior player and with Melo you temporarily get a two game advantage that becomes only one when you trade him for Durant or someone else who has one game while Howard has two.

I really couldn't care less what Howard loses tomorrow. I'll still be able to get who I want for him next week and most of the players I'll be buying now I'll intend to keep for the rest of the year so the race for dollars is officially over as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with CBG. I'll take a loss tonight on Howard, knowing he has 4-7 remaining before I move him, most likely to Durant. Last night he sucked, blowout, foul trouble or both. I do know he didn't set foot on the court in the 4th Q, played 19 minutes so he scored better than a point for each minute he was on the court.

We only remember the bad. Before last night his 4 games were 50, 39.5, 52, 51.5. Yup, 2 games less than 20 before that. Talk about sucking, how come no one's bitching about Rondo? He's been far worse than Howard, and marginally better than everyones whipping boy, Iggy

So which Howard do we get the next 4 games, my crystal ball broke, but I'll bet it's closer the the superstar level.

Money, always important, but takes a backseat to points, at this point. This seems to be the point in the season when price changes often make no sense. Boozer -40K, who the heck had the spare trades to move him, and for who? If Howard is your only in to Lebron, I'll buy it, but for me I'll move in to the King from another source.

Well the Howard situation really depends on what it is your team needs in terms of rotation or division competition. I for one am wholheartedly making the Howard > Melo trade based on divison standings. When I do out the numbers I come with an equation of about 4 Melo vs. 3 Howard games (since 1 Durant to 1 Howard is a wash in my eyes). Taking season averages (which is the best we can really do as managers) that amounts to a gain of about 30 pts using melo route via 1 trade as opposed to holding thru the 4in7 Howard into Durant next week. Now at this point in the season the best we can really hope for 1 trade = 1 stud game, or roughly 40 points. So doing this route I'm losing 10 points (based on averages) when equating the assumed oppurtunity cost of the trade used. But if incorporating money into it. I assume Howard will lose about 300k over the 4in7, Melo will gain about 100k or more through his 4in5, and getting Durant 2 days late will cost buyers roughly 150k I project. So in the end my equation comes out to 10 points vs. 550k in RV give or take. Now some of you might not be worried about RV AT ALL at this point but that isn't everyone, but in my situation I can use that 550k in advantage over my tight competition in the last month. Of course 1 bad game on either side will negate my points equation but that’s fantasy for us! The $$ equation is pretty accurate I think. So for those trying to make the decision today please consider the 10 pts vs. 550k balance when pulling that trigger!
