The Top 2 teams got blind-sided by David Lee but no one else is close enough to take advantage. With more trades than his competitor this is probably actually good news for the Senator.
Lee's surprise DNP coming quickly after one by Curry make me think that oddly enough the safest players to own right now might be Blatche and Deron. At least we've been assured they're going to play tonight.
I just sold Dwight Howard and man did it feel good. Maybe too good.

I noticed Lee was out with about 10 minutes left. Frantically started trying to put together a plan but moving him tonight didn't make sense thanks to Durant's flex already being locked. Ended up holding and I'll deal with it tomorrow I guess.

I hate it that flex gets locked once a player's game starts. It wasn't that way in previous years. If some plan to keep Salary Cap Basketball alive actually comes to fruition I'll want to be able to change positions even if a player's game has already begun.

Yeah, it's a really important feature. I know a lot of people have gotten burned badly by it this year. You look at the schedule and think you're going to complete the move you've had planned for weeks, and bam, everyone's frozen.

Phew! Jennings missed a 60-footer as time expired. Hit the fron of the rim and would have counted. Tyreke went to the locked room at the end when he got smacked in the face.

I'm sure I'm not the only who may have to alter plans with Tyreke most likely missing a couple of games. The cash I had was for Bosh, but that'll be rearranged slightly.

I went Collison > Tyreke today because I knew seemingly everybody would and I didn't want to be the one who missed out on a big Tyreke game, but it was flat out f-ing stupid to make the trade today unless your money is low and your trade window is small for a subsequent move. The 360K swing today is very unlikely to matter and Collison has a game tomorrow and is just as good as Tyreke so there was really no reason to make the trade until Sunday because of exactly what happened. If Collison gets hurt tomorrow, you were going to trade him the next day anyway so it's no problem. But Tyreke getting hurt means you wasted a trade. We're very unlucky that Tyreke got hurt in this particular game, but it's WAY too late in the season to make a trade before the game advantage actually kicks in. I certainly won't do it again this season.

Amazingly this is the first time all season I have picked up a player and he's been hurt the first day. (I probably just jinxed myself).

CBG, I know what you mean. I didn't want to see the so-called nightmare scenario of Tyreke going off for a 3D while Collison only got 20 (or even worse seeing Paul come back, which is a possibility). Definitely regretting it now. Strangely I think going with the crowd was the "safe" move last night, even though it didn't pan out that way. Have to figure out what to do with him and Lee.

The real fun part is finding a replacement today.
