Time flies. It has been a great season. Can't wait for the playoffs.
Congrats to the top 10... too many familiar faces there though ;-).
I will finish around 300, which is an improvement. If I continue at this pace I will be part of the top 50 in 2036. Hopefully you guys stick around until then.
So here's to the last day of the regular season, a great finish, exciting playoffs and... well, hopefully a Mavs overall win! |

LaMarcus Aldridge-F/C-Trail Blazers Apr. 14 - 2:23 pm et LaMarcus Aldridge is doubtful for Wednesday's game after being hospitalized due to a stomach virus. An earlier blurb indicated that Aldridge would sit due to his calf injury, but the virus is the more pressing issue. Aldridge was expected to be released from the hospital on Wednesday, and would be replaced in the starting lineup by Juwan Howard if he's unable to go

Now comes the nervous 10 minutes or so when we find out if the players we were led to believe are playing actually are. I took the chance that Durant will play real minutes and sold Scola instead of him. I'm assuming Dwight Howard will play normal minutes because the Magic want home court over the Lakers. Just trying to hold off Deejay for 5th and I might have an outside chance to pass Phatsow for 4th---I see we have some differentiation.
Deejay----Ramon Sessions? Is this your last day of the season tradtition?

I'd like some answers to the following:

Wish I could have taken Sessions, I had no room at guard though. It felt right just out of tradition but couldn't fit him in.
Hope none of you took Duncan or Ginobili...

Everyone SUCKS.
Except for Durant, whom I did not take. Thought Brooks was just "saying the right thing" for the media.

I was nervous trading Durant, Westbrook and Howard. Didn't think any of them would play big minutes.

Kidd doesn't suck, and the mavs are supposedly trying to win. Blair anyone?

I BOUGHT Howard today. A lot of teams take seeding and home court really seriously and I figured the Magic have to be thinking about the possibility of a rematch with the Lakers.
I kept Durant because my last sell came down to him and Scola and obviously Durant has more upside, plus I thought the Thunder might want to have a good game because they've been losing lately. Sometimes teams with nothing to play for give superstars big minutes in the last game for no apparent reason: it happened with Paul last year and it's happened with Kobe more than once. I just wish the Thunder weren't so far ahead.

I think no matter which way I had gone, it would have been the wrong way. LOL
I haven't made good decisions lately and it's showing. I just hope Dirk turns it on the 2nd half.

It sure is convenient that 11 games start at the same time on the last day. It's almost as if the NBA did it for fantasy players as a courtesy, although I'm guessing they do it so the teams whose playoff positioning is in doubt don't find out that the team they needed to lose did so they pull their regulars in the third quarter.

Has it always been that way? It really made it easier to manage this time. Terrence Williams SUCKS.

CBG, Good call on Durant. I can say I was not as smart as I traded him to Terrance Williams and passed over Collison.

Ouch! Terrence Williams has been a great asset to my D & T team the last month, but fortunately I avoided him in Ultimate today. You're in that 6-10 range where the prize money is the same anyway. I think I'll be 5th because I was lucky, errrr, smart enough to keep Durant. Still, overall championships: twolves 1, CBG 0.
I hope I'm not the only one who didn't buy DeJuan Blair!

I'll finish 5th unless Paul Millsap plans on getting 97.5 TSNP tonight. Wouldn't put it beyond him.

I got sucked into Terrence Williams too. Figured of all the unproven cheap options he was the only one with real big game potential. Didn't pan out, to say the least. If Duncan had been pulled earlier Blair would have been on the top of that list probably for a lot of people. Should have gotten Durant over the Pacers too, I thought they'd throw up huge numbers against Washington. Oh well.
Time for bed though. Good luck everyone, I'm curious to see how the standings are going to look in the morning.

I've avoided the "never agains" this season.... and tonight my thought pattern was as follows... Aldridge is down, somebody has to play big in Portland. They are fighting for playoff seeding; Camby is heating up; and tonight is ONE friggin game!
It is a finnished season when you get the deserved DNP from that "never ever again" player....
I tonight I am new creating my very own a NEW catagory.... The "NEVER EVER F-ing AGAIN PLAYERS!!!" "Mr Camby meet Mr McGrady."

Rondo and Pau outplaying the guys I got for them (Rose, Dirk). Seems to happen every year---some guys seem risky on the last day, then they go off.

Lost my league by 17 pts. Lebron's 2 DNP's did me in.
