Very well done! In a game where seemingly everything goes wrong all year, you have again made fewer mistakes than everyone else. Just think about what wrecks the rest of us must be! You have excelled and entertained; you're the best and you deserve it.

Congrats also to the other people who beat me: Blooki (amazing what you can accomplish even scaling back), reebbertxx (you seem disappointed but a great year nonetheless), and especially Phatsow, one of my best buddies for over a decade and my protege in Ultimate who has managed to finish ahead of me 3 times in 4 years. You have done well Grasshopper!

Hopefully there will be a game next year and I can continue to interact with all of the incredible people on this board. Enjoy the playoffs everyone!

Thanks CBG. It's been a lot of fun, I can't believe the season is over already (and that the game is seemingly over in general). It seems like just yesterday when when we were all debating whether or not to hold Frye. This one really went by quickly.

This season was great, mostly due to the competition and discussion with you and everyone else you mentioned. I'm really going to miss this game. I actually almost didn't play this year - I was the songwriter / drummer for my band and was about to spend all my time on that, but then our lead singer left. Figured I had to do it then. I know Blooki was debating too. Really glad I stuck around. (Thanks for scaling back man, as I've said before my head would have probably exploded otherwise)

Anyway, if you guys ever want to do an ESPN league or something next year, I'm up for it. But hopefully I'll see you all back here.

Congratulations Senator.

You certainly are the King of the game as the only back to back winner. You will also never be dethroned.

Congrats SU.

Seems TSN is hand counting the end score.
Nothing surprise me anymore with those people.

Congrats SU. I often wonder if it's skill only or if magic is involved. I always have the best intentions at the start of each season and still manage to fall hopelessly behind early on. Still lots of fun to compete for 12th spot... in my league ;-)

Btw... which one of the guys on the myspace siet is you SU?

Another outstanding performance SU. Your ability to make money and save trades while still scoring well is amazing. Hopefully we all get another shot at you in the future.

I really wish i could have kept it a bit more interesting down to the wire. Just when we started having a little back and forth I had a horrible spell of bad luck and bad decisions just when the weather started getting nice which combined caused me to lose interest. I know the battle would have been fun I just didn't have the trades to keep up.

I'm the drummer. If anyone knows of a singer / bassist in Philly looking for a band, shoot me an email, I'm trying to get things going again. I'd like to change the name, maybe to something fantasy basketball related. Jason Kidd Sucks has a nice ring to it.

You really did have some frighteningly bad luck at the end. The Ellis thing stands out in particular. When you took him I was really, really nervous, he was essentially the perfect differentiator. There's no way you or anyone could have anticipated him getting the flu that night. Same thing with Bogut's elbow and Bosh's face exploding.

Congrats to Da Man! I might have caught you had the season gone another 2-3 years. LOL

Congrats SU. I feel humbled to have been able to look up at you in our division all year. Hopefully I'll get another crack atcha in another fantasy universe. You seem like a good guy too, hope to meet ya someday!

CBG,

Thank you sinsei! (bows respectfully) Its always a blast to bounce ideas off each other and enjoy the competition and cameraderie. I had a great time in my comeback year (and had a MUCH healthier attitude about it!). I look forward to being dragged kicking and screaming into more fantasy leagues in the future.

And to everyone else, great year, Up the Irons!

Peace y'all...

Congrats SU,
I enjoyed our 1on1 discussions on trades mid season sometimes it just seemed like it was only me and you on the boards. Good season to all, all the gurupies finished in good standings again. Sad that TSN is done but hopefully something likewise will emerge that will keep us playing together!

So yes it is true.
