Subject: Gravity In Rotohog Premier

It seems that for a high priced player it's all but impossible to avoid being in gravity. I have Dwight Howard, the 14th most owned player at 21%, and Josh Smith, 16th most owned at 15%, and both are in gravity. Isn't that level of ownership plenty high enough to show that there is significant interest in both Superman and Smoove and that neither is overpriced?
Rotohog's apparent notion that high priced players should take gravity while lower priced players with the same ownership level do not is inane. If a decent number of managers want a player at his current price, it's a reasonable price, whether he's a superstar or a cheapie. Rotohog is severely punishing anyone who wants to differentiate in the slightest from the most widely owned players. and seemingly wants to push lots of players' prices towards the middle, which is only going to increase the age-old problem of superstars being way too affordable late in the season (except maybe for me because I'm losing money on players in gravity every day).
Another player I own is Al Jefferson, who I started with hoping that he would pick up buyers Week 2. It hasn't worked out that way because his play has been mediocre (32.6 TSNP per game counting tonight) but he's still owned by 6%, well above TSN's old gravity level, yet I'm taking an absolute bath by owning him. It would be disappointing enough to make no money on a player with such a strong schedule.
I bought only one team this year, partially because I wanted to see what kind of product Rotohog had to offer, and with this gravity silliness I am certainly not impressed. |

Sorry for this but this is a bit of an off question. TRADES I have been sooo confused where to tell how many trades I have. BIG GREEN number located side left on your team page Says 6 trades available...but that is NOT TRUE. Q what is that doing there Q where is the true number of trades available
This layout of this game is Horrible IMHO

CJ Are you talking about the "Premier" game? On my team page, the trades show in a blue box in the upper right hand corner of the Team page, and it's the correct number.
CBG -- I agree that there doesn't seem to be any logic behind this. I've also been holding Dwight and Josh and plan to keep doing so, although I suppose most teams have a mixture of high- and low-priced players, so it will balance out. By the way, I lost your e-mail a couple of years ago when my hard drive crashed. I hope you're doing well.

Yep and that is what it does...I made a post over a week ago asking if we had gotten 6 instead of 4 trades.....LOL It seemed like I had way too many trades. So I wonder to fix this can I use all of the Basic trades up so I do not have to deal with this?

CJ, RotoHog considers bought trades to be "universal trades". They can be used for any RH basic game. So if you have a basic hoops team, once you use those bought trades, they'll go away from you Premier account.

CJ Maybe you've already done this, but now that you've identified the cause of the problem, a note to RotoHog should lead to a fix. (Note that I used the word "should.")

Will do Chuck L In the end my fault for not acting on my hunch that I had too many trades. I kind of knew that in my mind but went ahead and planned as if I had them....LOL
