trade confirmed.

Who knows how long TD will be playing? his contract is up in a few months and there is the possibility that he might retire. if not this year then 1 or 2 years later. and who knows how healthy those 2 years might be. I am surprised that he made it this far without missing significant time. I guess his value won't get any higher than it is right now.

Leonard on the other side should get more playing time going forward, maybe even this year. Manu seems to be out again and Jefferson isn't getting younger. Even Splitter is banged up right now so the Spurs are a bit short on bodies at the moment.

we will see how this all turns out.

On the surface it's a somewhat lopsided trade at the present. However, as you said there is potential for Leonard to be a star and the obvious decline in TD makes it viable. Right now, Leonard should be your 6th keeper so it makes sense. Personally, I think you could have gotten a higher pick though than 3rd.

Meat's really making the big push with these last two trades! Teams at the top are all jockeying for players, so it's interesting to see the deals start flying!

I want to let everyone know that my 1st round pick is on the trade block. I'm obviously looking for someone that can help me win this year. I don't plan on trading it unless I recieve someone I value above Jamison and Duncan. If anyone has interest, please e-mail me.

With the top positions still very fluid, I'm wondering if there is a tiebreaker in place, in case two teams are tied in points at the end. Is there?

Straight up. Both are short-term pickups.

I'm kicking myself for leaving him on the bench but those players who get bursts of output like that are hard to figure. I feel like I'm cherry-picking days to play them.

Corey Maggette is just being straight silly at the Free Throw line right now. Check out these last 3 games:

Mar 7 against Uta, FT: 13/14
Mar 6 against Orl, FT: 10/11
Mar 4 against NJ, FT: 15/16

Thats a reeeeeDiculous 41 FTAs and an equally absurd 92.7% success rate.

I have enough big man stats.....looking to move my first round pick Biyombo and say Ginobili or Wade for a younger version of themselves. That being said, it would obviously take a VERY nice offer to score Wade (and Biyombo).

PD and Meatwads your teams are going nuts. Who can compete with you?

I should start to fade fairly soon. I've been burning through GP and it'll start hurting my counting stats relative to everyone else. Would love to make this a "last to first" season but my guess is that I'll end up anywhere between third to sixth.

I think this is still bmd's to lose.

Oh yeah, duh, I forgot bmd up there and with the fewer games played as well. No slight intended, bmd. You have been the outright leader many days so far and aren't counting on the ben-gay to quite the same extent. Solid team.

None taken. I think where my team ends up is going to be determined by how well Kobe shoots the last 2 months and how bad Josh Smith's FT% is. Of course, 1 injury and any of the top teams is in trouble.

This year has been very competitive. Seems all the top 3 have been very fortunate not to have any major injuries. From years past, that seems like staying healthy is the formula to finishing near the top.

Does no contender want Drew Gooden or Dunleavy for the stretch run? These guys have been great. But with Brook down again they'll only take me so far.

Wish we had time frame scoring like Guru has for RIHC so I could see how this team has done the last couple months. I've gained like 40 points. Might have been more if not for Brook and Lin's recent injury.

We had a tie in baseball last year. I don't mind ties since most of the times when teams tie both are deserving of the title. This year that is definitely the case. It's been a lot of back and forth and whoever wins will just be fortunate enough that the season ended when their team was in 1st.

Congrats on your title beastiemiked. I tried my best to hold you off but I couldn't overcome the injuries and poor games played management. I probably should've cut more players throughout the last month but I'm still learning how to play this league. It was a fun year!

Congrats to BMD on a great win. And to Meat and PD on putting up a great battle to the end.

Disappointed I couldn't get back up to a top 5 finish after a terrible start but just too many injuries at the end. I'd love to see some type of timeframe stats like we have in RIHC cause I feel like I was a top team since Feb.

Thanks, was definitely fortunate to remain relatively healthy throughout the year(minus Kobe and Bosh the last 2-3 weeks). Still had to do a mad FA pickup the last few days just to reach the max games played. I know we've discussed this many times but we need to lower the max.

Congrats to Meatwads and PD for making great runs.

Indeed. Didn't see the link.

And my assumptions were true. I was in first place since 2/01, 3/01 and 4/01 time frames. Oh well, wasted season thanks mainly to Lopez.

Interesting to play with that. While GO was in first from 2/1, 3/1, and 4/1 through the end of the season, he wasn't through virtually any split of those (2/1 to 3/1, for instance, or 2/1 to 4/1, etc). I guess steady play while the rest of us peaked (and fell) during those times helped GO move up.

Was hoping to squeeze out a couple more games from players but a lot of guys went injured the last couple of weeks, and some guys (like KG) just didn't play. Still, congrats to YR for winning the GP battle -- 587 games with a 584 limit isn't bad. :)

and I only had 587 games because of a surprise DNP by Kawhi Leonard. It is always my target to max out the games in hoops because even if you get a start from a scrappy player he will still get you some stats even if they are below average. the only thing to look at is that the players you use do not kill your percentages.

I realized early that there will be a lot of DNPs at the end of the season and that there will not be many opportunities for spot starts because of the dense schedule. I pretty much played all my healthy players all the time.

congrats to bmd for winning. it was a close race and Meatwads could have won it with a few more games played to get missing 18 rebounds.

it will be an interesting off-season for me because I have a lot of players with unknown roles for next season. I just have to hope that some of them will be starting next season.

Congrats, bmd! Try as I could, with some injuries to key players I couldn't cut this year, there was just no way to get all my games played. Not that it would have put me over the top by any means. Wow Meatwards and PD...all those trades you guys have been pulling rocketed you to 2nd and 3rd this season. Nice Work!

Looking to trade a couple of young up-and-coming studs in Tristan Thompson and Jonas Valanciunas for an established player.

Thompson was the #4 pick overall last year by Cleveland. He brings boundless energy to a bad Cleveland team where he will rack up minutes. Reputedly he's put on 15 pounds and worked on his midrange game, which would be huuuuuuge.

Valanciunas would've been considered as high as #2 in the previous draft if he was coming to the States 2 years ago. As it is, he's a skilled C prospect and Toronto would love to get Bargnani to the 4 and use him like a Nowitzki.....leaving the C spot for Valanciunas.

Inquire within.

JJ Hickson is going to make this hard on me. Not sure if I can give up my only 'local connection' guy if he keeps the starting C gig. Just feels like my Anthony Randolph obsession though. We'll see how this all plays out in preseason.

So ... what's the status here?

I personally lost a bunch of enthusiasm for the NBA after the lockout last season. I honestly did not care if they played or not.

Once they agreed to play, Gurupie20 had a terrible time getting started. It was way too close to XMas, and the regular Commish's were unable to get things organized. It was only the Greatness of the Guru himself that we started on time. Thanks again for that Guru!

So here we go ...
1. Who are the Commissioners?
2. Is everyone returning?
3. What is the keeper deadline? (Currently set for Noon on Tuesday 10/16)
4. When does the draft start? (Currently set for Noon on Thursday 10/18)
5. When are we processing the lottery?
6. Are we drafting at drafttime again?

FYI - Five teams have announced their keepers at the website.

More questions as I think of them ...
