Thanks Guru!

I played this occasionally last year, when there was a FreeRoll. Of course then I was competing against 10 - 12 managers.

So far 143 managers in this FreeRoll.

I entered numerous FanDuel baseball freerolls with the hook of "beat 'so and so' and win $5". Rotowire and their columnists.

So, how about beat the Guru???? :)

Excellent, now convince FanDuel to credit five dollars to each account that beats you.

They'd probably be happy to do that, as long as I funded it.

If there was some way to set up a game on there where some of the money would be donated to Guru, I'd be up for playing that, especially if it was a set your line up for a week. Something like a $1 or $5 buy in would be awesome. Or we could run a 50/50 where it's understood the winner would donate half their winnings.

I actually did well, finishing 17th out of 333. Out of the money, but respectable.

Wade was my downfall, I think. I knew he was iffy (a game-time decision), but it sounded like he would play, and I thought that might make him a useful differentiation pick. He did play for awhile, but with only 26 points (26 minutes), that hurt. Had I gone with Deron Williams (49), I'd have won. With Lowry, I'd have been 4th.

I don't recognize any of the names finishing above me.

Great job, Guru. That wouldn't have cost you much at all.

I wish Wade was my weakest player.
