I have sent out preliminary invitations to everyone who participated in one of the RIHC leagues last year.
I have 11 acceptances for the RIHC, and expect the remaining person to respond positively. I'll set up the RIHC thread shortly, announcing those 12 managers.
Those who finished out of the top 4 in the RIHC and those who finished in the upper half of a qualifying league have been invited to join a AAA league. Please check your email and respond ASAP.
I have also emailed all other QL managers from last year to find out if they would like to play in a AA league.
For now, I want to get responses to these initial emails before opening up spots to newcomers. However, if you did not participate last year and would like to be considered, please post below and list your email address.
If you believe you should have received an email and didn't, please let me know at davehall@rotoguuru2.com |

Hi Guru I have played fantasy hoops and followed your site since the smallworld days of yore. I was wondering if there is a league for someone new who wants to participate? Thanks.

The two AAA leagues are now set. One will be at Yahoo, and the other at ESPN. In most cases, I was able to each manager's first choice of site, if a preference was expressed. Those with no preference were assigned to ESPN.
AAA managers will each be hearing directly from their respective commissioners with registration info for their leagues and league drafts.
Here are the AAA league assignments:
ESPN league wolfer (commish) BB the Ball Great One gurudan KnicksFan louky mailedfoot Mighty Meatwads Toral VampireWeekend youngroman ywk
Yahoo league RJ (commish) Addicted Bean DJ Kyle maspero s R Stramonio Tosh Twolves Weykool WG

So far, I have 9 managers expressing interest in a AA league. Last year, we had two AA leagues, but it's not clear we will get to that level this time.
Here's the current list: Donkey Hunter TD Jaydog 1derpunk Chitown Hitmen Roberts beebop Valkyrie Perm Dude
In addition, CJ has said that he is "able to fill in." I'm interpreting that as meaning "only if you really need me."
If there is just one league, it will probably be at Yahoo, based on the preferences of those expressing interest so far. I do have one tentative volunteer to commish, but I still need to confirm that.
If anyone else wants to join a AA league, please post in this thread now. You must provide a working email address, or your post will be ignored.
After a few more days, we'll see where we stand.

Hello I'd like to throw my hat into the ring for the AA. I'll think of a new handle a little later, but look forward to the season :)

What's with the new Yahoo terms?:
"I give Yahoo permission to share with NBA.com my Account Info (first name, last name, year of birth, gender, registration zip code, country, Yahoo email address) and In-Game Activity, so NBA.com can create an NBA.com account and send me communications. I agree to NBA.com’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Learn More."
WTF?

After creating a team I was able to opt out. But that is after some information was already shared with NBA.com.
When you registered for Yahoo Sports NBA.com Fantasy Basketball, you agreed to share with NBA.com your Registration Info (first name, last name, year of birth, gender, registration zip code, country, Yahoo email address) and In-Game Activity (Yahoo Sports NBA.com Fantasy Basketball last login date per month, and purchases, if applicable, excluding credit card information). If you now choose the setting "No, stop sharing with NBA.com", Yahoo will stop sharing this data with NBA.com going forward. Please note that this setting does not affect any sharing of data that has already occurred. To learn how NBA.com treats your information, please visit the NBA.com Privacy Policy. You can opt out of receiving marketing emails from NBA.com through the link contained in those emails.
