The NBA has announced that the 2020-21 season will start 22 DEC. They have not produced a schedule yet, but project a 72 game season.
With that in mind, seems we need to get rolling on organizing the Rotoguru Hoops leagues. If you played last year, you should've received an e-mail from me.
The RIHC top league this season should include:

For those of you are named above, please let me know ASAP if you plan to play in the RIHC top league this year. E-mail or post here, doesn't matter.
For those of you who are not named above, I need to know if you plan to play this year in a qualifying league. Also, if anyone would consider playing a second team to fill out a league, please indicate that as well. If you have a friend who might also be interested, please have them contact via e-mail or here too.
Finally, I need volunteers to act as commissioners. Let me know if you are interested.

Right now, we have 23 owners who will be returning, with two owners (Jasonprof and Twolves) still not responding.
Louky has decided not to defend his title, so Tosh will remain in the top league this year. Addicted will not return, so tommyd replaces him in the top league.
Jasonprof has a Hungary e-mail address that has been problematic in the past. I am going to keep trying to get a message through to him for another week before replacing him in the top league. S R will replace Jasonprof if he fails to respond.
So, we have the numbers for one AAA league, and we'll see if any new owner interest emerges before starting a second AAA. I will go up to 14 teams in the AAA before starting a second AAA league.

If Twolves responds, he will be 13th team in AAA
If we get a 2nd additional owner, he will be the 14th team in AAA
If we get a 3rd additional owner, we will make two 9-man AAA leagues and Bean, Jasonprof and BBtheBall will have 2nd teams.
Any additional owners after that will be split between the two AAA leagues.
Although Yahoo has opened for Hoops now, ESPN has not yet done so. We will be playing on ESPN with the Top League and the first AAA. If we end up having a 2nd AAA, it will be on Yahoo.
Once I get the leagues set up on ESPN, you'll receive an invite to join. Soon afterward you will receive an invite to Draft Time (though it wasn't running last I checked). Hopefully all of this will get done by early December. I'll give you some dates once ESPN opens up.

Unless we get two or more owners to step forward, who didn't play last year, I don't see us having two AAA leagues this year.
Once ESPN opens its fantasy hoops, I'll set a calendar of events, including a "last day to sign up". So if any long time gurupie lurking here is on the fence, please dont delay any longer. And, if anyone has a friend who may be interested, please have them post something here soon.

ESPN is now open, but Draft Time is not. I have renewed the ESPN league for the Top League and invited new owners.
Last Day to sign up for AAA is 1 DEC. I'll be setting up the AAA league(s) the next day.

Yes, by renewing the league instead of rebuilding it each year, we can preserve the history at ESPN. It's a little clunkier than Yahoo, but it works. All new to the top league should change team name as they wish.

Per Fred at Draft Time in response to my asking when it will be available:
I have it on my to do list this weekend. I'm hoping most of the free agency and other contacts will be done by then... *fingers crossed *
Look for invite to Draft Time next week along with league invite. As time passes its looking more like only one AAA this year.

OK guys,
There is just going to be one 13 team AAA league this year and it will be played on ESPN. If you had a team in last year's AAA-ESPN, you were automatically enrolled. For the rest of you, you should have received an invite. You may have to change the team name you were invited into. Let me know if you did not get the invite.
I will get an invite to Draft Time some time today. If you don't have it by tomorrow let me know.
Once I get all of you in the Yahoo league, I will open a new thread in the Basketball Leagues and Standings Forum. Then, I will run a random selection order for the draft (hopefully you will all receive this via e-mail same time as I do). After that, we will start our draft order selection. Draft at Draft Time should be around 11 DEC start.

For RIHC - AAA owners. I have just run a draft order selection order at a website that sends results to all in a list simultaneously. You should have received the following list in an e-mail(I used your draft time e-mail cause it was the easiest cut and paste). Here are the results:
