The GMD draft will take place around 10pm tonight. The division managers are The Bandwagon, Shelby-villian, and allhair allstars. As of this posting we have 48 teams not including the division managers.

Following is a list (in no particular order) of teams that have signed up to play in the GMD game. Each of the teams listed may be selected to one division.

Only three managers so it went around pretty quickly, even though the draft itself too a lot longer than I would have ever thought. Overall, I thought the draft went well and that "my" team is far and away the best team out there. BW and SV, we need a friendly wager! :)

      Fri, Oct 26, 2001, 17:11 		Ok, I do have to give Shelby some respect. About this late entry "What about Bob" stunt last night, Shelby and I both knew KB8ers was behind the idea. KB and I use to be partners 2 years ago when we dominated the MS divisional race. I know how this guy works.

KB says to WAB, "hey where ever I go in the draft, you'll be on the same team as me."

WAB replies "How are we going to pull this off KB? I didn't enter my team id before the deadline."

KB replies "We will enter you in the competition mid-way through when its my divisional managers turn to draft."

Like I said, Shelby and I knew what was going down, but since we felt sorry for the weak All-Hair All-Stars, we decided to allow the pick, and help even out the 3 divisions. :)

      Fri, Oct 26, 2001, 17:32 		Surprised and honored being the first draft pick, I better start doing some player research, still haven't looked at the scheds either. Last year, I waited til the last nite and ended with super suckers Najera and Mottola on my initial draft. Yikes! I've learned my lesson and hope to avoid followin in the footsteps of other #1 picks; Kandi Man, Joe Smith, Nervous Pervis, Danny Manning and Brad Daugherty :)

BW - Post 121, you're 100% correct.

A warning to BW draftees. Having known your div manager awhile, I know that the BW curse wreaks havoc in alternating seasons. 2 years ago, it hit so hard that he contemplated quittin midway thru the season. Last year, the curse stayed dormant. Now, it'll rise again. You've been forwarned.

First of all, I'm happy to see that y'all are so feisty. I was concerned after the draft that we'd have to redraft because the picks went so heavily in our favor. I mean, come on, you guys don't really have a chance. I respect your competitiveness, however, and will certainly still respect you even after we've squashed your divisions.

Any behind the scenes machinations between members of my team were made with the full knowledge and consent of the three division managers. Ok... not everything... But most of it.

Bandwagon gets absolut_cdi and job. I was too busy trying to manage the 37 open windows on my screen that I freaked out and posted those picks.

My last two #1 draft picks were Pedro and Marshall. I figure if anyone is more consistant that those two guys it's KB. Don't let me down!! My only regret is that he'll only have one team registered in the GMD. ;)

For those of you keeping track, we have 5 unconfirmed teams on our roster (meaning that I still have no team IDs for these guys): What about Bob, Mark L, Ref, Eat Acid, and SweetGP20. Fer pete's sake, chime in guys! It's not everyday that you get to whoop so many Gurupie butts at the same time!

The domination begins on Tuesday!

      Fri, Oct 26, 2001, 22:40 		Actually, after looking at BW's division, they are probably going to be pretty strong. I think 6 out of his first 8 picks are pretty good players and then most of Shelby's team I've never seen before. And then there is AA...looks to be a solid team. So I think we have the least of the "known" names, but there are always those breakout players :)

Sorry but I have no idea what you're asking. Maybe you're asking about divisions for signups for the GMD?

You can place your team where ever you want. The divisions for the GMD are virtual, not TSN (i.e., we don't all need to be in the same TSN division). Does that answer your question?

Or might posts 129 and 130 help?

Just wanted to know if we were doing it like that so i could switch out of rotoguru.com. But i guess i can just stay in that one and itll be alright?

Or can we just stay in the ones were in (rotoguru.com) now and our points will still count for the GMD game. AA, my fault on all this confusion on a dumb question
