Ok, as requested in the price changes thread, here is the data I have collected so far. This is a breakdown of a auto division with 20 members, and only 2 known Gurupies.
I think this could (keyword is could) be a good way to see what the masses are up to. I hope this is of some use to people (and to me), I am working on getting today's breakdown to try and figure out who went where, but that may take some time.

I believe there's an app that can do this fo ryou automatically in excel, RSF had one last year I don't know if it's working for this year's pages and format. It's interesting to find out the widely held players, which should be available in the standings when AA puts everything together, that way you know who should be on the way down if they hit a slump in the schedule or have a couple of bad games this early in the season.

You can not get a accurate sampling for over 5000 teams if you are only taking data from 20 teams.

I agree and disagree with you APerfect10. Right now, you are right. The 20 teams I have used probably isn't representative of the 5,000 for quite a few reasons such as the fact that I know nothing about them - ie how "typical" these owners are. All I can tell is that most of them don't appear to be gurupies.
However I think you are wrong as well. The number of teams you look at in theory doesn't matter all that much. 20 teams out of 5,000 is what - .4%? Consider TV ratings - Neilson samples 5,000 households to draw ratings for the 100 million that have TV's - thats 0.005%.
I would think that with another 20 random teams (20 gurupies would really skew things - too logical) a .8% sample would give some useful information.

Thanks VIDevilRays. I don't have the technical ability, but does anyone know if it is possible to set up some sort of excel spreadsheet that would do this kind of think at the click of a mouse? I would donate my time to run something like that on 100 random teams if possible. Right now doing the 20 in my division by hand is about all I can do...
