Subject: Free Game Gurupie Standings Signup Thread

Ok. Despite my better judgement, I'm going to float this and see what happens. If enough people are interested I'll get things rolling...
Use this thread to get yourself entered into the Free Hoops Gurupie Standings. This thread is only for teams entered in the TSN Fantasy Hoops game, not the TSN Ultimate Fantasy Hoops game. For those of you that may not be familiar with them, the Gurupie Standings tracks your team throughout the season and gives you an indication of how your team stacks up to those of your fellow Gurupies.
Here’s what I need from you:
--- Your Gurupie (posting) name
--- Your team name
--- Your team ID#
A few quick guidelines…
--- Only one team will be included in the Standings per manager.
--- You will be allowed to switch your teams upon request, within reason. Once the standings are fully established I’ll provide a link to a (Waiting Room) thread where you can place your requests. Team switch requests will be honored as soon as possible but I make no promises…
--- Dead or dormant teams will be moved out of the standings for teams that are in the Waiting Room.
--- A cap will be placed on the total number of teams that will be included in the standings. The cap will be set once we get a better idea how many teams will be in the standings.
--- At some point near the end of the season a date will be set after which no team switches or additions will be allowed.
To find your team ID#:
Click on the “Your Division” link that takes you to the division standings for your team. You’ll see something like this in your URL or address box…

The #### portion is your team ID#.
If that doesn't work, right click on your team link and Copy the Shortcut, then paste the link somewhere and get the #### part.

I have no idea how many teams we might end up with, and I know there's been a sizable infusion of new visitors to the forum... We'll just see where this goes...

Hey AA, check the second to last team in the standings. That team is something like ten days old.
