How many of you decided to miss T-Mac II all together?

I didn't want to waste a trade on a "cheapie" center for an extra game or two....it looks like a bad decision, but at least I'm not tradeless.

T-Mac2 has been a HUGE train as of later, it is incredible! I wish I had him!

Glover is already gaining! :-( I was hoping the train wouldn't start until Wednesday's price changes when he will be on my team.

Finally over 55 mil at $55.03---slow moving this week.

Smallwhirled-
I didn't jump on him because it was for only 2 wks and I had other plans for my C's, but since my team is gaining so gradually I wish I had got him. Too late now because I would never waste a trade for 1 wk (5 gms).

Well T-Mac II benefited not only as a cheapie center for an extra game or two, but also one of the better options for all those jumping ship on Baby O'neal and Ben Wallace. I only have him on one team and I went to him from Mihm. I don't think it was that bad of a move considering Mihm's schedule is significantly worse than T-Mac IIs. Plus, T-Mac II offers a perfect option as a position to upgrade when Shaq/Kobe are traded away and leave a bunch of cash in the bank.

Just my two cents.

Kenny Thomas has been quite a QUIET train the last 3-4 days and I have had him 3-4 days! :-)

I like this guy, he has a 3-4-4 coming up and I think he is a nice addition. He goes tonight and if he does well he may continue his upward rocket.

Just took a look at something interesting from the sortables. 44 players have made money this year versus right around 320 who have lost money. I didn't remember it ever being that hard in any game.

Plus, casually it seems each week brings a new position with 2-3 trains. This week the G's lead the way, last week C, etc. This makes it tougher to trade for $$ without totally retooling.

61 vs 370 for football. Maybe not so strange...Then again gravity really bites K/TE/D hard.

I like gravity. It makes more players underpriced leading to more options of good buys. I don't mind that so many players are losing money overall in the season because I don't have any of those players on my teams. It's as simple as that. If players are losing money due to gravity, it's because nobody has them. So nobody's really losing roster value, but rather their gaining cheaper options to use their now-hard-to-get roster value dollars on.

Blooki: You're gonna use the trades to get out of Shaq and Kobe and look to upgrade your other center? You'll still have money left over so you'll be upgrading a F as well, which means you'll be using 4 trades. T-Mac II will have to give you some healthy numbers this week to justify having to use that precious 4th trade!! Hope nobody else gets injured.

I went Mihm->Mohammed in my 2 teams on Sunday.
Nazr goes up almost nothing..Tmac II earn 200k in 2 days, and he's plus !M cheaper..
but he remain a just-for-a-week options. Nazr it's long term. If he give points, he'll give me money too.

I think gravity should be accented, 30k is still too little in my opinion, at least for a guy that costs more than 9,000, maybe the formula should make gravity a % of their price, and not a set number of TSND.

Who says I need to upgrade a F too? I'm sure plenty of people have Kobe/Shaq and will be using 2 or 3 trades as soon as their time is up. T-Mac II has been putting up very healthy numbers for the price I got him at and the profit earned is just an unexpected bonus. I think it's perfectly justified to get Kobe/Shaq (who, although have been a bit disappointing, certainly looked too hard to pass up) and upgrade a player once I trade out of them. We'll see how things turn out, but Kobe --> Iverson, Shaq --> Divac, and TMac II --> Wright doesn't sound like bad managing to me. But maybe I'm wrong... as always, only time will tell who comes out on top. No point in trying to justify oneself (Post 41) once what's done is done.

DR Stars, I think it's fine the way it is. Studs will always be studs. I don't think you need to make them any more affordable than they already are. Given the right schedule, studs will always be owned season after season. I feel that gravity should be geared towards helping cheapies. Now, how to get cheapies putting up stud-like numbers to their 'fair market value' (i.e. Tinsley) without allowing their owners to make 4 or 5 million in the process is another problem altogether.

I'm ignoring the Todd train. Maybe Kidd's exquisite passing really does make him viable at last. But over the last couple years Macullach has been the poster boy of the cheapie center circle-jerk.

Jeff Foster has rebounded nicely from his brief slump and has been the #4 center (32.4 TSNP/G) in the last 7 days. I went TMAC II > Foster after a dismal week 1 performance by TMAC II and I am not wasting a trade to go back. Foster also has a nice 2 week schedule coming up.

Foster is benefitting from JermO's absence, no one knows how long that will last.

T.Mac2 might be a little inconsistant, but isn't this a game about money at the moment. Shouldn't you get your money from any available source. Even if it means trading cheap centres?
