Subject: Bow before your new Art Jr.!

I'm officially closing the polls. We have a winner, and we call him Mark L. He stands on the broad shoulders of Felton Spencer, who, with 62.5 SWP, has barely scored more this year than Art Glover did in that one game he used to sucker us in.
Really, I think we all knew Mark L's coronation was inevitable. There were decent showings by rfarts and arthair artstars, but Mark L's supporters Feltoned early and Feltoned often.
I humbly pass the crown now, and welcome Mark L to the Noble Brotherhood of Art. Be just and wise, my friend, in your new incarnation. |

Well deserved, Mark L. May you be half the example to these boards that Mr. Pres. was during his tumultuous reign.

Needless to say, I rock.
A more deserving recipient of the coveted Art Jr. tag could not be imagined. But I could not have done it without Felton Spencer. I vow to litter the boards with further pearls of inanity drawn from my vast store of boneheaded moves.
And Luc Longley does not deserve to fill the hallowed slot of Felton. It's a tossup between Randy Breuer, Benoit Benjamin and Tito Horford. Pure partisanship, you know.

WOW, Tito Horford, how do you even know about him, he's from the DR, so I guess I share in the award by association, but even more, my dad discovered him as a 12 year old pitcher, and brught him to play basketball. We then got him to go to Houston for H.S., and then UM for College, that's when he started listening to agents and cut the cord with the DR pretty much, took some money neglected school and the rest is history, he still plays in some Latin American tournaments, but he had potential to do much more.
Can anyone name the 3 DR players that have passed through the NBA...

pd - Kenny G over Lester Young, any day.
Yinka Dare certainly qualifies for my squad on the basis of ability, but he never played for the Bucks.

Right on both counts rfs, not on Palacio though.
Also, Jose Vargas made the team a couple of years with the Mavs, but elected to play in Europe for more $$$, he played college ball at LSU. He played in Venezuela, Brazil and here for the last 8 years, with 7 championships to show for it.
