One of the European Gurupies has been having trouble accessing the rotoguru1.com server. Currently, that is where the sartibles and player pages are being produced.
I'm not sure what the source of his problem is, but there is a simple workaround. I maintain redundant capabilities for the sartibles and player pages on rotoguru1.com as well. I then route the link based upon my current resource and bandwidth capacity. But you can override the programmed choice of server if you need to.
To force the reports to run from rotoguru1.com, simply append an "o" (lower case letter O) to the URL. For example, http://rotoguru1.com/cgi-bin/hstats.cgi?94so will force the report to run on rotoguru1. Once you have forced the server, the "o" suffix should automatically be included in all internal links, so you shouldn't have to continue to amend the URLs.
Similarly, if the rotoguru1 server is not responding favorably, you can go directly to rotoguru1.com with this URL: http://rotoguru1.com/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/rotoguru/hstats.cgi?94s
For most of you, you don't need to remember this. Just use the standard links and everything will be directed to the proper server. But when routing problems or temporary server outages cause problems, these alternative links might be useful. |
