I wish it were better. I've dropped into 4th place, where I've been pretty consistently hanging for the past few weeks.
The primary problems are Steve Francis and his recurring headaches, Lamar Odom's injury, and Donyell Marshall's injury. Ray Allen also hurt when he was out - which is very atypical for him.
The top 5 teams seem to be a cut above the bottom seven, and I still think I'm poised for a rebound. Allen and Brent Barry's schedule will help over the next few weeks, and if Franchise can keep playing, and Odom can ever return, I have a chance to recapture some lost ground. Donyell's return could also be a nice boost, although he hadn't been playing as well even before he went down. He may have trouble regaining enough playing time when he comes back.
Derrick Coleman could help, but I seldom have the guts to put him in, since we can only make weekly transactions. I finally bit the bullet and inserted him for the Sixers 3 games this week, and was promptly rewarded with 2 DNPs. I should know better.
