Just thought you guys would want to reflect on some of the biggest memories from this season. The biggest one I have is the Art Jr. trophy. Remember when Mike D. got it for drafting felton spencer?

There is was also the infamous Grand Theft Basketball!! Thread. It sparked quite a bit of controversy.

Or the day that they played games in the afternoon on the weekday (president's day). 500 posts went up on that action thread. Good times, good times.

Hey, I may have had one (or more) conversations with myself, but I did not, repeat did not, draft Felton Spencer!

If my memory serves me correctly, and if I already searched to make sure, it was none other than esteemed Bucks fan Mark L. who drafted...and held...Mr. Spencer for a week!

The creation of the Art Jr. award is a great memory for me. The boards were a mess at the beginning of the year, and many veterans, myself included, were leaving. One night I dropped by to lurk and saw Mr. President's thread about the Art Jr. award. The spirit of the boards was back. Thanks James K. Polk! We never would have had names like "rockafART,jrSkank," or "Mark Felton, Art Jr." What a travesty that would have been.

Learning how (and then forgetting again) the method to trademark one's own name was memorable. Dueling on a slow night with PGunn over the Chicago Bulls point guards was also a great memory. Neither Ollie nor Anthony was the same after that night. In fact, they got the boot! I still say we had something to do with that.

The amazing transformation of some of the newbies, from pain in the *sses to Gurupie contributors, was neat to see. Obviously, HD comes to mind in a second. The record-breaking deletion (moderation) of posts was also, um, an interesting thing to see this year. The oddly hilarious "Ask Blue Hen" thread. The incredible GuruPatron Bonus tool, created by RSF. Guru admitting his "Senior Moment," and allhair allstars countering with his "Senior Movement."

IBTM with one of the most unusual handles I've seen. He ran outta room. Crazy. And the Action Threads starting hours before any games would. The "race" to start them was hilarious, IMHO, though some people didn't take it that way. One night, we even had Action Threads start for 3 or 4 days at a time, never to be duplicated. And they all were active threads...in the same night! Now that was a twilight zone night.

I think I'm getting memory overload here. I could link nearly all these occurrences, as they are still available if you check the prior pages on the Boards. Half the fun though is hunting for them. ;)

Who could forget about the Ugliest Player in the NBA thread? That has to be my best memory.

Overall this was a great first year for me. My WWR before this board: 2000ish, my final WWR: 644. Thanks for everyone's help this season, I cant wait for October to roll around!

For some reason what stands out to me is THK's nightly update of his ro$ter value. ;)

It is way too hilarious that Mike D almost got tagged with my bonehead move. Stay off my turf, bud, no one else is dumb enough to pull the draft-and-hold with Beltin' Felton.

Biggest memory is all the profane and vulgar language displayed in one of my Yahoo leagues. I learned a few new terms checking those messages...yikes!!

Best memory is definitely the Art Jr award. Short lived but high impact. : )

Who could forget that time when TSN posted the price update an hour before the regular time! :-) Everyone dumped Duncan for KG, I believe.

I feel kinda responsible for the ensuing debacle after I posted a link to PlasmaX's invalid roster, only to see TSN come to his rescue and give him the bonus trade. Some of the threads and posts that came out of this were unbelievable!

Some short lived excitment was when TSN was awarding $50 Million to start new rosters in the free game.....but later realized the error.

Speaking of free game errors, is it me, or did TSN process points in the regular season free game for 4/20?
