I know there's an Ultimate Hoops Sign-up thread, but that is for just 1 team and we all know that we're gonna have more than 1 team each. Look at Dave R. He has at least 6 and I definately don't want to be in a division with any SANFORDOR teams.
I like competition, but I like $$$ better so I don't want to be in a division with any gurupie if I don't have to be. I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way so post your TSN division numbers here.

All user divisions (public) capital and lower case A to Z...only 4 divisions out of ALL of them has more than 10 teams:
basketball fanatics-27
central-12
rotoguru.com (not going there)-11
temporary (guess that one isn't staying)-11
Ugh...I lucked out in football, guess I will stick with Auto divisions.

J - I moved my team to the almighty Puget Sound division. In 391, I suggest you take notice of Chiapet496, he was in the rotoguru.com div last year and finished in the top 50.
On another note, it's pretty strange to see only 12 teams in rotoguru.com . I guess it's the result of the new "divisions winners get money" policy. Everybody wants to be in auto-divisions.

HEY guys, u may know me u may not. I usually play in the rotoguru.com division for my BASIC temas and do pretty well.
in any case i'm just posting to say good luck with the season. TSN ultmaite hoops.
ME and a bunch of guys (Wonderb, Main Event etc.) have a division (ROUGHRIDERS) name may change. WE ARE GOING TO BEAT U GUYS ON THE TOP DIVISION LIST.
I'll see u guy's on the Leaderboard. Do any of u use the TSN messageboard (the guys in my division are active there, if u wannat chat)

I keep changing out of "temporary", and I keep finding myself in a division with Gurupies. I think I am screwed.
Last was 402 with RSF and something with Ithican Clippers. ARGH.

Things seem to be better suited to jumping lately as auto-divs form and fill up more quickly. I think I am content with my 5 divisions (I'll post them when I get the time). I think I share 1 with RunNGun (I think he was around here last year. I know THK is in one of them as well.

When I search for auto divisions (under search user created division), it gives me a list of TSN_*** teams, but they are all in plain text and I can't click on them to try to join. Has anyone else encountered this problem? If I change to an auto division multiple times it always throws me in the same one. Any way around this? Of course, I'm trying to get in divisions with my 2 extra teams that I think give me my best chance to get my money back.

Search for "Roto" and move it into the "staging area" division. Wait a while and move out to an autodivision.

The best way is to transfer to a user created division that doesn't have a password, stay there for awhile (until the division you left is full) and then transfer to an auto-division.

So let me get this straight? Your division has to be in the top 100 in order to get a prize. Or can you not just be in a shi**y division with 10 people and win and get a prize.

Also how can you change auto divisions. I attempt to change and it keeps putting me back in the same one (with 3 gurupies). I want to be competetive, but i also want a chance to win!
I don't think anyone one would like those odds.

The division winner in any division that has 10 teams gets $40 and a T-shirt. If a manager has more than 1 team in the top 100 he can only get 1 top 100 prize.

Leading all 3 currently with 4229 being the lowest score, but at least 3-4 solid contenders in each division, including some Gurupies (and wives of Gurupies!!!). Have a trade and $$$ advantage as well in 2 of the 3 divisions on the nearest competitors.

very competitive division here (TSN 192)... managed to reach 1st place only 2 days ago (when all top 3 where in the top 100 WWR)... luckily, a couple of Gurupies escaped just prior to the freeze deadline
now, with 4333.5, I have a 52 points advantage over 2nd place

Currently 5th in a fairly competitive division called RaptorLand which is ranked 9th overall. The top 6 teams are in the top 200 wwr, & one manager owns 5 of the 14 teams. One team already has Yao Ming! lol

TSN_650 is ranked # 214. That has to be near the bottom. Anyways, I suck, and am still in 2nd place and only 117 SWP back.
First place here has 3746 SWP on the 23rd.
Interesting to note, I've been playing around with the day later types in hockey and hoops now. I purchased my team the morning I drafted and was placed in a random division with a few day lates and a few that were day later like mine. Anyways, they were managers that just seemed to step in a day or two late. But, J purchased his teams much earlier and is in a much tougher divisions. (Sorry if I jumped off my point, but I'm just saying that purchasing the team late helps, IMO, when going later.) Same deal in hockey as I went week late and most of the teams there were at least 3-4 days late which is making in much easier to take a divsion.
Baseball can't start soon enough...
