Guys, I'm sorry that I don't know everyone and I don't remember if some people are better in some sports or in others or i've seen their name on the boards or whatever. All I can say is that if you do well, you will be picked up ina hurry by someone. People were picked on their past. If you are new you are at a disadvantage. Thanks for being involved--this will be fun! SS, I knew I'd get you in the 8th or 9th since you were on my squad in baseball and no one paid attn to you. I was also doing my DD draft during the GMD draft so wasn't paying as much attn as I could have. Louky was my first pick regardless of what position I was at. Just glad he was still on the board at 3rd pick. Without him I don't have a chance last year as he made many many moves for me via cell phone last year. The favorite by far is Dave R's team. He has the 1st, 2nd and 10th place team from last year's hoops game on his squad. And that is WWR, not just the boards. I think for the best situation of the league that we might wanna give them a week to be able to throw into the Free Agent Pool. I agree with rfs,dave r and J--in fact I am the one that said last season--final chance to be in. But, even though outvoted at this point, I would be inclined to give everyone one final chance--say 1 week to get in. That would help make the Free Agent pool larger and perhaps make it more interesting. But, even if we did do this, it would be a one time thing. What I don't like is for a good manager to get off to a bad start (like the day late teams) and they get first pick at free agents. I respect whatever decision you guys make, but I'd definitely like to be in if you do open it up. To explain my tardiness . . the season crept up on me and I hadn't been on the hoops board until a couple of days ago. IIRC, the baseball GMD didn't start until about a month into the season.
