Gang:

The scoring on day 1 seems to be working, and the interface, in my opinion, is the best one we've done. So -- are you having fun yet? Do you see any major bugs? Let me know. I'll try to check here daily.

I know that this is not a bug but I'm sort of disappointed in the number of players in each pay game. It kind of makes it easy to get an average ranking. But other than that, everything looks great.

So far so good Erik

One request (ok, maybe 2) when looking at other teams, as of now, there is no "Daily Stats Breakdown" which shows the last 5 days points for that team.

Also, on the division page, showing each teams $$$ & # of trades would be nice

Ok, 3 things.

The daily email report. Just Day 2, but I haven't seen one yet. In hockey their haven't been any blurbs for some players, can we expect to see blurbs in the near future? (hockey or hoops)

Thanks for listening to us!

1-As the defending champion in the free game I implore you to make the 'Roster value' link work.
2-I would like a similar feature in Ultimate Hoops to that which exists at Hockey for last night's best performers.
3-Get your Premiership soccer game working to an acceptable standard.

P Gunn,NO WAY.That is why I'm in the Rotguru Net division. The Buy trades game stink unless you are prepared to play seriously and watch how many of the early trade buyers upsticks and crawl back into their tent having spent more than they can win.Just a cheap shot to get Erik's attention.I'll give it a serious go in 5/6 month games where the buyers realise how they are winning and get limp dick syndrome.World Cup Soccer was a joke and I don't really see how non-buyers stand a chance now they are dividing key games into 2 phases.Their(TSN) games, their strategy, their incomes and bonuses.Every European (not eligible for prizes and playing for the love of and addiction to the games)on these boards has expressed how unhappy we are with game development -to no avail.Eurogurupies are dead serious about the divisional 1 in Ultimate Hoops.

J, P Gunn, etc: Great suggestions. We're in the process of moving to a new space, but I don't see it being an issue to get these improvements done soon.

This is just an idea -- I don't think it's important for this hoops season, but it might make for a nice feature later on.

What if there was a link on a manager's team history to a page that would track the team's progress? For example, it could have a chart that had a row for each day of the season, and in each row would be listed the manager's points for that day, his total points up to that day, his roster value on that day, his overall rank on that day, and his division rank that day.

It would be cool in April to go back and look and see "Wow I was ranked #123 in November, fell all the way to #789 on February 23, but recovered to finish #456." Of course, a manager could keep track of that himself, but it might be an easy feature to add that some managers would appreciate.

A slightly different version of Jazz Dreamers's idea; how about some extra data points that shows "Season Highs" for your team; WWR, single day's TSNPs, your highest Single Player TSNP (with name/date).

how about a "printable page" link? Curently the standard template doesn't print your team on 1 page and show the price on the far right.

Ender,
I'm not sure, but without such a link on the "Your Division" page, I don't know if you can ever look at what your true "frozen roster" is for that day. You can always look at what your team is currently composed of, but I'm not sure you can see a 100% accurate frozen roster for a day. Say you make a trade at noon, and you're not sure if it went through (not taking into account that I think it tells you what time you made the trade when you do make it), I don't know if you have an ability just to make sure that your frozen roster isn't invalid. But someone please CMIIW.

Ender, obviously, that is what I do now. And it isn't too difficult. I would just like it. I would like to be able to click my team and have it pop up in the exact same format as the other teams in my division (on my screen you can see two more rows of players in that format.) It's not a big deal to me, I'd just like it.

Eric,

Because Im an idiot I have a request. It seems when one is excited about the great future plans one has just made..SOMETIMES one will buy the second individual in his plan instead of the first one..thus wasteing a trade and MANY MANY curse words. Would it be possible to institute some kind of 5 minute rule, so you can change your mind or fix a trade mistake? I have only done this about twice in the four years I have been around here but it really sux.

Eric - what about displaying a clock on the site so that we can see how much time we have remaining before the roster freeze. On a few ocassions I have decided not to chance making a move when my clock says 11:58 for fear that the TSN clock might say 12:01.

I think first and foremost should be to set up position changes. Someone mentioned to do it once a week, like you do with IPO's. We need to know when this will happen because it is a serious factor in our trading.

For example, I'd love to be able to move Ricky Davis to G and dump Ginopieceofcrapbili for a forward! But I have no idea if I will be able to. I'm gonna be upset if everything gets updated the very next day and I didn't know about.

I like the Basic Hockey Price Movers "Top Gainers & Losers" for the Last 7 Days and the Season in addition to the Top Position player Gainers.

Any chance of getting the "Last 7 Days" feature added to Ultimate Basketball?

A "Last 14 Days" or some other number of days rather than the "Season" number would also be interesting. "Season" becomes meaningless after a while.

Thanks again as we are having fun. ;)

One slight issue.

I just went to the "scores/schedules" page and clicked any boxscore link and it ships you to an NHL game. I like hockey and all, you know "Go WinterHawks!", but I'd prefer the "nhl" in the URL be replaced with "nba".

Another slight issue in relation to RSF's scores/schedule mishap.. looking at boxscores on the site, as well as the schedule of games, the day is offset by 1... eg Wed 11/27 points to games on the 28th, and so on. Not something totally important but relevant enough.
