Any opinions on how this will affect Gooden and/or Giricek?

I think Gordon is going to be starting, and Gooden is going to be moved to the bench for now...

I think that both Gooden and Giricek will both be starting. How much longer will Jerry West let his #1 pick come off the bench?

MemphisFan.....you haven't weighed in yet....whatcha think?

It may be wise to see who the interim coach is, and see what his initial comments are.

If I was interim coach I would say this: "Our goal is to maximize fantasy points, not to win games. Therefore, Giricek, Battier, Gooden, Gasol, and Swift will be our starters. They will each play 48 minutes per game, unless they foul out. If you own any of the other guys on my team, tough luck.

I think that's what Musselman said in Golden State. Arenas played 48 last night. The starters are being called "iron men."

Nah, Musselman justs wants to keep them in as much as possible so that hopefully one or more will get injured. Then he will have an excuse why the team stinks, and on top of that get LeBron James.

I guess this means no more season-ending "Hubies" on TNT. That guy is hilarious. However, I see no way that he will ever be able to relate to young players. Maybe I'll be surprised.

Hubie's got that cool Albino look that all the kids are emulating these days.

After getting over the shock, I'll be the first to say "Hoobie" (as Christian Laettner called him during his post-#1 pick interview) will do a good job for the young Grizzlies. He may even make Left Wings wish they would come home.

YES YES YES!

Anything but Lowe. I have faith in Hubie! At least from what Ive watched in broadcasts he seemed to know what he was talking about. Thank god West didnt get Walton. LOL. He hasnt coached in 20 years, thats pretty scary - but West knows!

We'll see how it pans out, but I don't expect any major changes. If Giri stays in the starting lineup I would be amazed.

AHS,
I think both of them are acceptable. I used to be a stickler for ROTFL, but it is pretty often typed as ROFL, so I have been assimilated since I get to type one less letter I guess.

(Or were you being sarcastic, in relation to Micheal's recent grammatical tirade?)

I am shocked I did not see the names....SHAQ, Diesel! Are you kidding, he was terrible at expecting him to play. Jackson changes his mind the night of the game all of the time.
Another is the Headache that caused my headache...Francis!
