just curious if anyone has, or knows of a site (with downloads that actually work) with emulators for Sega Genesis and/or Super Nintendo or N64... I already have one for NES and my buddies and I started trash talking about NBA Jam - and Mario Kart - (I guess this relates to basketball afterall) and want to kick their butts without actually having to go buy all the equipment... any thoughts? |

Arcade At Home
Good luck finding ROM's :( And remember, it's legal as long as you actually own the cartridge.

I think I have got one working... link
just gotta find a site with some depth and variety in their games - and links that work, which is the key... I am already thinking about playing a little Sonic... yeah...

i just got a pop-up saying that I am under investigation and it had my ISP address and Comcast etc... and then it said - I can take care of all of these problems by clicking here, etc etc... should I be worried? or was it just a pop ups way to scare you into clicking on their link?

Oh yeah, you will get a million pop-ups and be asked to vote for this site on the Top 100 and Top 50 before you can have access blah, blah, blah...
I use SEGA, SNES, and N64 emmulators for my son to play my old games and the games he keeps at grandma's without having all the consoles and cartridges lying around. I feel your pain :(

It's been so long that my links don't work, sorry :( Google searches work pretty well, but it takes awhile to find a good one without broken links. Foreign ones are sometimes better.

i took a crack at it - google AND a foreign site - and bam! I was in business... not all the ones I want, but they also had n64 emulators with Mario Kart and Zelda so I am psyched. just in case you wanted to check this one out

Glad it worked out for you. I checked out the link and it loks just fine. My biggest problem right now is that my N64 emmulator is working really slow for no apparent reason. It worked fine and then went into slomo so nomo Mario Kart for me at home. I have to wait until we got to my mother-in-law's and then I question whether the trade off is worth it ;)

I actually originally asked about this 2 years ago... funny how things come back around again..
on the hunt for a site with successful downloads - preferably Nes Roms - and minimal pop ups...
anyone know a good site by any chance?
and when searching my name in the filter, discovered there is a guy in the baseball forum now called THE Great One.. this is gonna get tricky!
