These guys arent all stars yet, but have the ability to put up solid performances this season

Gilbert Arenas- The ball will revolve around him in Washington, will add to his all around game

Andrei Kirilenko- The number one player in Utah now after the mailman and stockton gone, points and rebounds will increase, always good for blocks

Corey Maggette- 3 of best players gone from the Clips, now is number 2 scoring option, I won't be suprised if his scoring average is near the 20s

Amare Stoudemire- A solid pick who's scoring should substantially increase, always a threat in blocks in rebounds

Lamar Odom- The most talented player on the heat whos game should thrive in the open court with the new type of miami basketball, points and assists will increase, always a risk though

Eddy Curry- If anyone noticed last year, Curry was capable of monster games, shoots an extremely high field goal percent, obviously the best inside force on the Bulls

Carmelo Anthony- He should be taken in the mid to lower picks in the draft, certainly will be one of the top scoring threats in offense deprived Denver

There certainly are many more, but these few are very likely to improve their stats from last year

Cory Maggette will never be on any of my teams. Not that anybody cares. :)

If there is one guy I can't stand in the NBA, it's him.

The ball revolved around ARENAS in Golden State too. Maybe/Maybe not on that one.

Carmelo Anthony? Who knows?
The NBA is a whole different level from college.

Lamar Odom? Injuries and Drug problems. Miami players are risky draft picks until we see how Riley is gonna use all the new players.

Kirilenko you're probably right.

Curry and Chandler might be ready to bust out this year. IMHO. Agree with you.

Odom was a big disappointment for me last year. If he can stay relatively injury-free, however, he can be a monster for long stretches.

I think Ricky Davis in Cleveland has a nice upside if he takes over PG (James will play the 2 or 3).

Another PG, Tyronn Lue, looks to be starting for Orlando, and is certainly on my early watch list.

Van Exel should be huge in G.S. Dunleavy should be better. Along with Curry and Chandler, Crawford blew up the last month in chicago too.

I would think Dirks scoring average would go down based on Jamison's mid 20 average from last year.

Van Exel will be the ball hog he was in Denver again, and although Dunleavy will get more playing time, im not sure if he'll improve that much...

And I forgot to add Keon Clark, sadly one of the best players on Utah now

The Jazz recently signed Raja Bell, who will get every opportunity to win the starting SG spot. If he can be even remotely consistent with an outside shot, and play credible defense, Sloan will give him 30 minutes a night. He has a chance to triple his stats from previous years.

The Jazz acquired Glen Rice as well... You don't think they'll use him as SG?

I live in Utah, and this morning's paper suggests the Jazz will make a retirement settlement with him, as he doesn't fit in with their rebuilding program. The deal was mostly done to get rid of Amechi, who had contributed nothing in 2 years and had become cancerous in the locker room. I doubt Rice will ever don a a Jazz uniform.

SG situation will be between Bell, Stevenson and Pavlovic(sp?), 19 year old rookie from Serbia. Bell will have the inside track.

Ok cheers for the insight.

How about the PG pecking order, is the job Arroyo's to lose?

Arroyo at least has some experience, but the Jazz have invested a lot of money and a 1st round pick on Raul Lopez. Maurice Williams, 2nd round pick from Alabama is also in the mix. But, yes, I think right now it's Arroyo's to lose.

I agree with Curry and Lue. Look for Reef to do more with the big dog out of town. Both him and terry should be better and push through to stud status.

Fantasy-wise, look out for Scottie Pippen, H. Turkoglu, Desmond Mason.

Samuli, Raul Lopez probably has more upside but since he was out for the last year with an injury (knee?) no one knows what to expect.

Pancho........just a question.. Where does Harpring fit in all of that? Surely Utah would start Harpring at SG and Kirilenko at SF?
