0 Subject: Ultimate Fantasy Hoops Schedule

Posted by: NBAChart - [279501122] Sun, Oct 12, 2003, 00:53

If you are interested in purchasing the BEST fantasy hoops schedule email me. It's only $10, and it's the best one that I have found! I'm in the process of setting up on Ebay, but until then just email me and I'll send it to you!
This schedule is geared towards those who use TSN.

Not so fast. Maybe his schedule has the TSN points that each player will score in their games. That would surely be worth ten bucks.

Just trying to help a brotha out. With this schedule we have finished 2nd and 8th in the world on TSN Ultimate Fantasy Basketball. This schedule is an Excel worksheet, and can either be managed on the computer, or printed out.
Definitely worth the small investment.......if you take your fantasy games seriously!

Pardon me but schedule is a schedule, right? Like which team plays on which days and the works? Why would anyone be willing to pay $10 for one, it's well beyond me.

I guarantee that you'll buy it next year!

Guarantee? Let's see your cards then.

Oh, and one more thing: There are several gurupies with top-10 finishes around here, and a couple of overal-champions as well... So you could probably look into adjusting that marketing speech.

I can state unequivocably that every tool you need to finish 2nd in the WWR's in here at Guru's site. blackjackis21 can back me up on that!

(I think Guru and Dave R and superhero powers and keep special tools in the bat cave)

Not trying to bust your chops NBAChart, but I'd only be interested if you could put warnings on it like "Don't pick up Mo Peete after April 1st", or "never rely on a GS center when you are out of cash". :)

Is 5000 teams really the WORLD?

Probably be 4000 teams this year with the rule change. And when you consider that most guys have multiple teams, you're not really beating that many people when you win this thing.

Not taking anything away from you though. I have never made the Top 100.

NBACHARTS-maybe you can post the first few weeks of your chart so that we can see what you are offering. Pretty hard to buy something when you don't even know what is on it.

Maybe he finished #2 in the free game, he was one of the few who bought all those trades.

Thomas the Tank? Hmmm....NBAChart, if you sweeten the pot by adding a costume like Ukula is selling (x-large, please), then count me in! I seem to make better trades when wearing children's costumes.

Seriously, "it's the best one that I have found!". So, he wants to get paid for something he found, not that there's any value added?

I'm going to put a link to the sartibles up on eBay, undercut NBAChart by pricing it at $5 with a Buy Now of $8. Treasure Bath!

Hmmm... I'm quite sure j/k-smooth was the champ not too long ago... Could be 1999, though? Ditto for KB8ers, I thought he finished 2nd the year j/k won, and was the champ himself a year later? Ahh, fascinating, innit? ;)

The 1999-2000 CNN/SI version of the game was actually a first place tie between j/k smooth and KB8ers GM.

Well.. I didn't put the 2000 CNN/SI game. The rankings were :

1* KB8ers
2* j-smooth
3* ? (I think there was "Duncan" in the team name).
4* Guru
5* KB8ers

I don't know a lot about the years prior to 2000 but would be interested to get some info about it. I know Bethesda Panthers won in 1999. I think Guru won in 1997 or 1998. Maybe Doug with his LA Boys also won once, I don't know, I just saw some very old rotoguru rankings using Google.

I also think another gurupie (Doug) won once with his "LA Boys" team.

I remember the year (2000) I actually came in third behind KB8ers and some other dude, i think J-Smooth, BUT i actually got the 2nd place prize cuz KB8ers wasn't eligible for the 2nd place prize for some reason....it could be that he won the CNN/SI version and thus was unable to claim both prizes, but I am not sure, I just remember that I lucked out and got the 2nd place prize when i finished third for some reason...

I took the Schedule from the other thread and had to transpose it. I am used to having it with the Columns as the Date and the Rows as the Team. I am no God at this but though I would post an alternative. And it is Free! If someone places in the top ten by using this, then I would appreciate it if you would let me know so I can market this next year.

NOTE: Be sure to just click "Cancel" when prompt for a password! You will get it read only and then you can do a Save As.

OK, looking at his Original Listing , it has a "this item has been relisted" tag. Which, if IIRC, is an ebay feature that allows an item to be relisted if there are NO BUYERS! If you click on the "relist Tag" it takes you to his new auction. He also has a "buy it now" price. Well, when someone clicks buy it now, it ends the auction. His auction is currently going with NO bids (over the past 5 days). He also has a feedback rating of "11" with the last feedback coming 9/04 on an item he bought-- his feedback has NO rating at all as a Seller. Do you really think 150 people bouth this item the past week by contacting him on the side and NOT clicking on the ebay limk and leaving feedback? Zero? Nada? Zilch?

C'mon dude, there's really no need to come here and pimp free product and then lie about the results. You are just making yourself lose credibility. By the way, still waiting on your division name and nmber. You challenged anyone that wanted to join, so I'm waiting?
