Subject: Ultimate Hoops Standings Signups

It is time to register to have your team entered into the Gurupie Standings.
Reasons why you want to have a team entered:
1. To have a team entered against the best teams in TSN.
2. To have a chance to be entered into the Gurupie HOF.
3. Because RSF is nice enough to make a spreadsheet for us to do this.
4. Because I said so.
Anyone can enter a team, but you may only enter 1 team. You may change your team once during the season.
You need to give me the following info:
Your Gurupie Name
Your Team Name
Your Team ID#
A big thanks from you to RSF for making the standings spreadsheet
You can find your team ID number by going to "my team center" and then right clicking on the team that you want to enter. You will see the following phrase on the block that comes up. HTML&TEAM_ID=XXXX file the XXXX= the number of your team. |

They will be in the Basketball Standings forum. Most likely it'll be up and running on Thursday/Friday. I have to sit down and square things up, but won't have time tonight. Also debating how simple/complex the standings should be.

T-mac have a little patience!! First the spreadsheet needs to be made, then tested to make sure it works, then all the teams have to be added. The spreadsheet can not be tested until after the game is up and running. All that being said. Maybe by the end of the weekend it will be up and posted.

I think the basics would be alright. WWR, points yesterday, RV, change in RV, change in WWR, trades left. And my favourite from last year how many guys playing tonite. I think this might have been for the top100 but is it possible for you to put player density on it? Like you let us know 50 teams are on this, and 47 have jamal crawford or whatever.

But that would be false info since they can change rosters before then (since there is no hard freeze). Sure, you can report who they had for the day before, but not who they have for tonight/today.

Right click and "copy shortcut" on your team name link, then paste it into notepad.
From Ender's post 32:
